Ordered this puzzle for my daughter and absolutely do not regret this purchase! She was enthralled by all the different animal noises and trying to figure out how they fit in. One thing I have to say about this puzzle is that the sounds are activated by the shadow of the pieces blocking the light-so the noises will not work in dim lighting. However, that feature is not really an issue for my daughter, who absolutely loves this puzzle, or I, who enjoys a long stretch of me time while she plays with it!!-

I had to edit my review. At first I wasn’t happy because the sound didn’t seem to be working. After reading the back of the puzzle though, I realized it needs bright lighting in order to make the sounds. Now that I know this, I give this toy 5 stars. The puzzle pieces are easy to put in and take out. The colors are vibrant and eye catching. It will be a great tool to help my son learn animals and what’s sounds they make.

I didn't even mean to order one with noise but it only makes noise if you put your finger over the sensor and not every time and not every animal. We touched the horse and it made the sheep's sound. It makes no noise when we place the pieces where they belong. I would rather it just didn't make any noise as to not confuse my one year old learning animal sounds.

Well constructed, beautiful realistic pictures, perfect size for toddlers. Animal sounds are realistic. Only complaint is description says makes animal sound when correct puzzle piece is placed in correct slot but actually any animal piece placed over a slot will activate sound.

Good for 3-year-olds.

The 1st puzzle didn't work, u would put the cow in it's place & it would neigh like the horse. They replaced it & it not even 2 months & the 2nd puzzle stopped working. My 2 yr old ggson barely played with it & we've replaced batteries 4 times. Mostly we keep it turned off. Now no animal sounds work ‼️ definitely NOT worth the money ‼️

The media could not be loaded. My child loves it. In half a day, she was able to figure out how to put together puzzles correctly. She is 17 months old. This is exactly what I was looking for for her age. The only cons that I noticed is that the animals always start making sounds when the child brings something to it. It could just be her hand or a wrong image of another animal. For example, if you bring a cat to a dog, the cat still barks. This can be confusing for a child who is just learning about animals. It would be nice if, in case of an error, there will be some other sound or something like "oops, it's not right, let's try again".
