I am having so much fun customizing this kit, but you don't have to. Everything you need is included except glue and tools. Instructions say "alcohol glue" I have no idea what that is. I used wood glue for the large wall pieces, tacky glue (spread thin and evenly) for the printed wall backgrounds, and E6000 for all the small pieces and decorations.Instructions are good I found one confusing thing on page 31 the third floor supports are G23 not B8.I added a string of mini LEDs with it's own battery pack I did not add it to the provided set.A tip from me, when you have cut paper pieces run a black sharpie along the edge, the black edge is less noticeable than the cut white paper edge.

This was my first diorama kit. I loved building it. Nicely packed. Words of wisdom, be as organized as you can with this. So many tiny pieces. I used a storage box with spacers to keep everything in order. And do not rush trying to put it together. These kits are designed to give you a hobby experience. It took me about 3 weeks (a couple of hours each day) to put together. This was so relaxing to do. In fact, I've just purchased 2 more kits. This item deserves 5 stars. If you do not have patience, then pass this one up. But if you do have patience, buy it.

Gave this as a holiday gift. She finally got around to assembling it and found that many pieces were missing or broken. This would have been an awesome gift but it turned out to be very disappointing. Return window is long closed. Too bad.

Great product. Fast shipping. I just love these mini houses. Amazing. The material had good thickness and quality.

Very nice looking as a picture but too cumbersome to put together

This piece has many many wood pieces and accessories but it’s quite organized with the labeled bags and the corresponding sheet of the parts is a big help. I added cushions to the chairs, accessorized the bathroom, added extra flower pots and wall hangings but without those it is quite a beautiful piece in itself.However, there are a few things they should improve on. First , one of the fabrics was running short and I ended up using my own fabric to make the cover for the bed on the third floor. Then, I wonder why they use some a thin piece of wood for the door to cover the battery. The way they want you to wire the 16 lights they have was challenging. I ended up cutting an opening on the door, as shown in the first photo, in order to get the wires inside the box. The hinge they supplied without screws didn’t work well if you just glue it( which would be solved if the the wood is thicker and you can put screws in). Perhaps those of you who also buy this should prepare a piece of thicker wood to replace the supplied door. Lastly, the door would not close well due to all the bulging wires inside. Then I added a latch to it in order to close it.The last complaint is the quality of the dust cover. Took hours to peel off the paper from the acrylic sheets. They just tear easily.In the end, if you are willing to tweak a few things this is a beautiful and rewarding piece.
