MCM Audio Select 55-2973 12" Woofer with Poly Cone and Rubber Surround 120W RMS at 8ohm

Sound quality is good overall had to modify my box to get them in they sound great at 35 Hz ported and they can handle quite a pot I can handle quite amount of power I have the same exact pair and 15 you will not be sorry if you get these woofers I know this company I’ve been to their actual website these are the guys to trust

I rebuilt the Pioneer floor speakers using these incredible MCM 12"woofers, 5"Pyle mids and pyramid titanium bullet tweeters, also upgraded the rear mounted infinity bi-amp crossovers. Filled the empty cabinets with 5lbs of poly-fill insulation. Total cost per speaker was about 95.00 each. They now sound as great as a 600-700 set of premium floor speakers. Also covered them in a carbon fiber 3D film that looks completely authentic and expensive. Sounds are closely maintained at 120w RMS. COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!!

I bought these to replace the rotted paper cone speakers in my Sony system. These are slightly larger than the 12's I replaced, after enlarging the opening they fit. Sound is great, for the price, I'm very happy. The poly material should last forever.

I put 8 of these in a big-ass, correctly tuned cabinet and they've proven efficient and durable. What else could I possibly want for 13 bucks a driver?They bottom out when I hammer them hard below the enclosure tuned frequency but judicious filtering solved that problem. Within their operating bandwidth they do handle 100 RMS watts per driver continually and without argument. Not an awesome driver "at any price", but it's probably not possible to touch the price/function ratio with anything else. These will get your budget project off the ground.

Complete odd ball speaker.Was 12" but inside diameter was a complete mystery. Holes drilled in random locations. Bought as a replacement for a Kenwood 3 way home stereo subwoofer. Now I can't even return it. Seller lists the item as if it has a flammable gas or liquid inside. Please don't ever buy from this seller.

These drivers fit great in my vintage 1970's Fisher XP 75a speaker cabinets. The cabinets are unnported. These woofers produce powerful tight Bass.It's hard to believe the sound these bad boys produce at such a great price. My record collection never rocked harder!
