Let's see if I can say something that the other reviews don't cover.To get it out of the way, the Leviton NEMA/USB outlet is better made, without a doubt. The Leviton outlet has a glossy face that better matches most Decora-style wall plates, while the Topgreener has a somewhat rougher surface. The Topgreener outlet holds a plug just as tight as the Leviton, but the plugging/unplugging action seems a little bit rougher.All things considered, though, the overall quality of the Topgreener outlet is pretty good. Pretty, pretty, good. It really belies its Chinglish-sounding brand name. The company behind it is based in the United States. The packaging is professional. The outlet has UL certification, unlike many no-name NEMA/USB hybrids on Amazon. It has screw backwire connections, like most commercial-grade outlets. It comes with two wall plates -- one conventional Decora/decorator style, one a GREAT Lutron Claro clone with no visible screws. Score! I'm using Claro plates when I replace all the switches and outlets in my house, so I saved another $4 by buying this outlet. I wish I could buy the wall plates alone, separate from the outlet.How does the outlet it work? Perfectly fine. No buzzing, no heat, no odd smells. It charges devices as fast as a charger in a car.At $18, it's hard to justify a Topgreener outlet over the Leviton.. For the $13 Black Friday sale price, it was a no-brainer, especially considering I didn't have to drop another four bucks on a Claro plate. At $15 or $16 ... okay, sure, I'll get some more. I'm sticking to Leviton for the outlets that will get heavy use, but I feel confident using the Topgreener outlets elsewhere.

I was deciding between this and a slightly more expensive brand, Leviton, that has essentially the same functionality and aesthetics.I'm more familiar with and have grown to trust the Leviton products, but out of sheer laziness of not wanting to figure out which face plate color style or size (which are NOT included with the leviton)... or pay what seems to be an inflated price for the plates on Amazon, I purchased the topgreener brand because it included two different styles that matched the outlet, one plate is a more traditional curved edged plate and the other is a newer style which is slightly larger and boxy but uses a vanity cover to hide the screw mounts for a more seamless look. In actuality both plates will come in handy, I installed the traditional plate to match my other outlets, but since several are having problems I'll end up replacing them all in the near future and adding the modern plate later.Packaging was well done, installation was easy and intuitive. Good instructions were also included and appear to be thorough enough to help a novice.Overall I'm very happy with my purchase. The outlet looks good, the spacing of the USB ports are proportionate to the size of a traditional outlet, everything works as advertised. Will purchase more for the future.I've only had the outlet installed a month, so I have no comment on longevity. I'll update this post if any problems arise.

I have 4 of these in a home office and they've worked great for the last ~4 years. Just bought 2 more for a bedroom reno! Use them to charge phones, headphones, Garmin watch, kid's tablets, etc.

The media could not be loaded. I installed this outlet in my kitchen, the wiring was much better than the "hook" style because I could just insert the wires and tighten the screw down. There are 2 different face plates included, which was nice to be able to pick the one that best matches my other outlets' face plates.Once installed I tested the outlet and USB charging with my cell phone (picture included). I was getting about 1.25 A with it, which was likely "throttled" by my device. It is NOT fast-charging compatible however, and when using the samsung fast charger adapter the charging was much faster for my Note 5 device (57 minutes fast charging vs 1hr 27 minutes via usb outlet). Not really a big drawback to me really as I didn't expect fast charging capability and the charging is plenty fast at over 1 Amp output.The tamper resistant outlets are nice if you have kids. They are "shielded" a bit where you have to press the plug in. I believe you could press something in if you really wanted to, but you have to press fairly hard so many children may not be able to do it. I did NOT test if this was possible.The writing on the outlet is a little annoying if you are looking for a sleek outlet, but I think most other outlet options have similar writing on them as well.I'll give it 4/5 for the slightly slower than expected charging speeds as well as the writing on the outlet. Also the fit and finish of the faceplate to outlet could be a little better for 5 stars.

Really like how it detects the device and can vary the charge so if you have a rapid charge capability on your phone it will do the fast charge automatically. Works perfectly on my One+ 3T - just like their Dash charger.

Me gusta queb incluye una tapa extra de otro estilo, sin tornillos (algo que otras marcas no) buena calidad, facil de intalar y seguro. Las partes donde se conectan los cables para instalación son seguras y faciles de manejar.

Funciona bien en general y es muy útil para cargar los dispositivos ya que no hay que andar con el cargador por todos lados, solo el cable, solo que los contactos no están muy bien hechos, se batalla para insertar las clavijas
