This review is for the Lavish Home 72-1515 LED Sunlight Floor Lamp with Dimmer Switch, 5-Feet. Here's a short description of it: This is a 5 Foot Adjustable Neck floor Lamp17 Watt LED (built in), Natural daylight (cooler than warm white), 1400 lumens, should last 15,000 hoursTouch Power Button, 4 Brightness Settings (up to the max 1400 lumens)Input: 100-240V, 50/600 Hz 0.35A Max; 2 Prong AC Adapter Output: 13.2V,Dimensions: Base: 8.75 x 10.25", Height: Approximately 50", Cord Length: 67".This lamp was delivered last week, was easy to assemble, and worked perfectly with no problems.The reason I included the specifications of the LED floor lamp is that there is widespread confusion about the lamp because of the lousy website description. I don't know if it's Amazon's fault or the vendor's fault, but someone must fix the website for this item 72-1515 (ASIN B00PB94PCO).FIRST, they must delete the following statement from the 72-1515 Product Description, "The linear fluorescent bulb provides bright, natural light perfect for working, reading and more." This statement is FALSE. The lamp 72-1515 does NOT have a fluorescent bulb; it is an LED lamp!SECOND, this lamp 72-1515 was first available, according to the website, on November 6, 2014. BUT the website included more than a thousand reviews BEFORE November 2014, reviewing obviously a different floor lamp. Just about all of the "Most Helpful" reviews were dated before November 2014 and DO NOT apply to the LED floor lamp. Of the almost 2 thousand reviews, only about 60 are on the LED floor lamp.THIRD, the fundamental reason why there is so much confusion is that the same website is used for the LED lamp as well as the fluorescent lamp. Once you select a color other than Dimmer Black, you are getting a fluorescent lamp. To get the LED lamp, you have to select the color Dimmer Black, even though the product description talks of a fluorescent bulb.Confused? So was I. I just took a chance in ordering it, and if it didn't come out LED, I was going to return it citing a misleading web description. But I'm glad I ordered Dimmer Black and got what I wanted, the LED floor lamp. Still confused??? Bend the ears of Amazon, maybe someone would straighten this website out.SUMMARY: 5 stars for the LED floor lamp, and NEGATIVE STARS FOR THE AWFUL WEBSITE!!!AMAZON, ARE YOU LISTENING?

Greats product and easy instructions

I purchased this lamp as a gift for an elderly relative to use as a reading lamp next to a bed. I selected this model because it is tall and fits against the wall between the bed and a table. Very non-obtrusive. Sturdy once assembledNeeded a bright lamp for reading, and casts a fairly bright light perfect for reading. It includes the bulb. Assembly is required - no tools needed.Assembly was fairly easy and I had the whole thing assembled in about 5 minutes. It comes in 4 parts - the base, two pole sections, and the adjustable lamp part. Attach the lamp to the first pole by threating the wire through the pole and then screwing into the lamp part. Then feed the wire through the bottom pole and screw that to the top pole. Connect the wire from the pole to the wire on the base - plugs together easily. Finally tuck the wire up into the bottom pole and screw the bottom pole to the base. The process of screwing the sections together is a little tricky - the metal threaded piece that screws the poles together moves a bit and I had to work a bit to get the threads on the pole to line up with the connector pieces. I tightened the sections and it appears to be sturdy.The on and off switch is a little rocker switch located on the underside of the tamp below the bulb. The lamp part adjusts easily, but not sure if it would hold up to continuous twisting and adjusting.All in all, a good buy for the price.

Good construction - metal tubes, heavy base.Good looking - goose neck covered by accordion pleated plastic and attractive looking head.Good electronics - high voltage ballast provides instant on - no filament warmup required.No wall wart transformer - all circuitry in lamp unlike many others.Excellent quality light - Extremely bright and similar spectrum to white LED lamps.Great price - Price Pros sells for $[...] including shipping - no sales tax.I was using an OttLite 13 watt as a reading lamp and it just wasn't bright enough. This lamp is 27 watts and has about the same brightness as a 100 watt incandescent lamp but with a much whiter, crisper look. The gooseneck is easily adjustable in all directions and seems to be plenty stiff enough to hold the lamp in position.The price is unbeatable for a good quality floor lamp. I see just the lamp being sold for $[...] though it can be bought for half that.If you want the same basic design but as a table lamp it can be found by searching for 72-0813. I bought mine for $[...] including shipping - haven't received it yet.

When my soulmate passed away in Dec 2017, my/his coworkers sent me a sympathy basket with 5 different house plants. After 8 months I realized I needed to repot them separately in order for them to survive. I chose the 3 healthiest ones to repot but, I live in an apt. with only NW facing windows. The natural sunlight wasn’t enough, they started going downhill, and I knew I needed to get them “sun”. This lamp is amazing- not only did it save all 3 of my plants (they’re growing new leaves every week, it’s such a drastic different from their former state.) This lamp can be tilted & turned (I use it for myself if I’m on the couch writing/reading at night.) It was very easy to put together and has 4 brightness settings. I just brought home a Guinea pig & a mini lop rabbit a day ago (both young- 3.5 Months & 8?Weeks) they’re far from the window, so I plan on using it over their pen for a boost of sunlight. All around great product; multi functional, saved my plants the first week of use, easy to set up, and not pricy for the quality...I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I bought this for over my recliner when I try to knit or do projects and need more light. I love that the base goes under my chair, so I can put it in a sort of tight spot. It has a touch button to make it brighter or turn it off. It also has a gooseneck so I can turn it to the couch if I want to.

I ordered this on Amazon.co.uk, and made the mistake of not checking what kind of wall insert it had. It's a US plug which does not work for us in the UK. Dark brown color looks great, bit shorter than I needed but it'll do. Haven't been able to turn it on yet....

Unsatisfactory. Return facility is really bad. Not reliable.

I love these lamps. I just got the 2nd one after the first stopped working. It was good for 5 years, so I am happy with the purchase.
