Epic Book on Peoria's histoory of Punk
This book showcases how punk rock began in Peoria with the Stepe brothers and Bloody F. Mess one of GG Allin's cohorts. What a great read despite some negative slander of Bloody we all know not to be true. It certainly is a very important book concerning punk rock as a genre and culture in America. And it's even greater to read with accompanying sound track cd of the same name which I also have autographed in more than one format. The 12 " vinyl soundtrack form also features all the influential bands in the book that contributed to the making of the rare Peoria punk scene. Pick up a copy. It's worth it if you ever heard anything about guys like Bloody and what he was doing in the pun rock days while appearing on shows like Donahue and many others. Glad I bought it. Seller was very quick and efficient in getting it over to me. Would buy from them again.

History of Punks in Peoria
This book was a lot of fun to read. Even though I was not in Peoria reading this book was a trip down memory lane. Even though the book takes place in Peoria it could be any small town in America where the fans create their own musical community. Some of the bands in the book are local but they also brought touring bands to town. The book was well written with lots of first person accounts. There are also some historical photographs. Have fun listening and reading
