What I mean by that is that I use these gloves in conjunction with thin vinyl gloves are a great combination for when I do/cook BBQ/Smoking.It gives me a light heat protection from the meats cooking in my smoker/Kamado or charcoal grills.I do not like to use the thick rubber ones out there as you cannot feel if the meat is ready or not.My hands can tell if the brisket is ready just by feel as an example.These gloves are perfect for this situation.

I bought these to use at a catering hall, when carrying out hot food trays for the buffet. They kept me from burning my hands. Definitely worth it for the price!

I work in a kitchen so I just use them as a thermal layer under the normal gloves, they work great.

They fit a bit snug after washing & drying them, & my hands are small & thin. I would've preferred a more loose fit for sz mediums.

and I dug right into a couple of smoked pork butts, hot off the smoker. No issues with heat while i was pulling the meat apart. These were perfect for insulating my hands.

I got these for my husband because I saw that these types of gloves were good for heat resilience when smoking or grilling without restricting your hand movement. My husband wears these by themselves or under rubber gloves. I have also worn them under rubber gloves when taking meat off the smoker. They do prevent your hands from burning and can be thrown in the wash as well. My husband likes them a lot! Great buy, highly recommend.
