I've used this product for homemade ice cream. It is very sturdy. It washes well so can be used more than once.I have not used it for hot soup so cannot comment on this although I do think it would hold it well and keep it fairly warm.

I make homemade soups and ice cream so needed a handy set of tubs to make it easy for batch making. Also a great way of giving a tub of ice cream to a friend or whoever and say ‘oh try this, here you go!’. Was sick of buying plastic tubs that discolour or can’t be recycled.

At Christmas I make ice cream for friends and family and these tubs are great for storing it in. Highly recommend.
