Seymour Duncan11102-60-B - SH-10n Full Shred Blk

The brightest SD passive neck HB, I paired it with the Alternative 8 which is a high output rock HB and together these work very nicely. If you want to try a different neck for a different sound and like the Jazz and '59, give this one a shot. Cant go wrong with SD no matter what you are looking for. The names of SD pickups are misleading like the 'jazz' which is so versatile and can play anything and excels at rock, the full shred is not just for shredders, it is also very versatile.

Sounds amazing, although not a fan of the gloss finish on the bobbins would prefer matte finish but thats just nitpicking though I wish they offered a different color.Tones are well defined even under heavy distortion. Cleans are bright but not harsh, Pairs well with an Alternative 8.

Installed this pickup in my Ibanez RG and it's a clear and smooth sound. Previously had a SD 59 neck installed which is great, but the Full shred has clearer lows, but less attack on the highs. A balanced pickup great for solos and rhythm, but I think it's best for single notes. The SD 59N has a better rhythm sound, but with distortion the lows lose some clarity. Great pickup overall!

All in all, fantasic sound. I don't think Seymour Duncan makes a bad product.

Bought these for my boyfriend for Christmas. Great price and fast shipping. Haven't tried them out yet but I'm sure they'll sound amazing.
