However, I should caution you that these are not very good. They are flimsy in quality and did not work for us. We have a developmentally disabled severely incontinent woman and she wears depends. These plastic pants gave her a rash on her legs because they are cheap plastic. They were not as absorbant as we needed. The ripped after a few uses and although claim they are machine washable, they didn't hold up. I do not recommend this product. **Q: How much do these hold ?** A: She wear them overnight and the bed is dry in the morning. They are worn over depends. **Q: Are these washable and do they really not leak through?** A: These are washable and generally kept fluids in if worn with a diaper or depends. I would gently wash them. They will break down in time especially if pulled up too fast. Even so, my diapers sometimes leak when very wet and I'm sitting at home or in the truck. So, it's important that I wear plastic pants over my diapers to minimize any leaking onto my easy chair or truck seat. Although I read some very negative reviews about these plastic pants, I decided to take a chance, anyhow, because the price was so reasonable for two packs of three pants per pack. I am very glad that I did. These pants are sold under the AmeriCare label, but are manufactured by FiberLinks Textiles, a trusted name in the home healthcare market.These plastic pants have proven to be a very good investment. Although I wear 38"-40" waist trousers, I ordered the plastic pants in Extra Large 42"-52" waist size to make sure they would fit completely over my diapers. They do, and are not too loose at the waist or legs, so leaking is minimized or eliminated. They feature something called "Spill Block" which i haven't figured out yet, since they don't look different from other plastic pants. These pants are noiseless, soft, and are very durable, though i should mention that i hand these pants and line dry them inside. Hanging vinyl pants outside in the sun dries them quickly, but sun deteriorates vinyl quickly, which leads to hardening and cracking.Two great features: these plastic pants have an unconditional guarantee that, "If for any reason, or any time a product does not meet your expectations, we will replace it for FREE!" The other great feature is the most important, namely the crotch is full-width, meaning the entire diaper crotch is covered, which is very important because diapers tend to leak most at the crotch or the back of the legs, so a full-width crotch and seat is essential. These pants have it. The company needs to change their package photograph with a more accurate one (see my photo for an actual view of the pants, and you'll notice the full crotch coverage.In conclusion, I don't dispute the negative reviews some have given, because I don't know their personal experiences. I just know my own, and so far i am pleased well beyond my expectations for such reasonably priced pants. I should mention that i wear a different pair each day, so the pants are rotated and are worn only once every six days to minimize wear and tear on any one pair of pants. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality could be improved *by S***E on October 31, 2024* In the 6 pairs that I purchased, 3 of them had gaps in the attachment of the waistband to the pants. Not too big a gap, but still, that is something that shouldn't be expected.
