Lorry (monster) wants to be the scare humans as do all monsters. His Great-Grandfather Scabby Moldoody loved to scare kids & make them scream.Great-Grandmother Henrietta Fang made them have bad dreams.Unfortunately, Lorry (monster) is cute.Lorry (monster) has a huge library, so he tries to find an answer in 1 of the books. What are kids afraid of?The kids walking to school even laugh at him.Back to the books. Will Lorry (monster) ever find a way to scare the anyone?I do not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing free books from publishers & authors. Therefore, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one.An awesome book cover, great hand-drawn colored pictures, charming illustrations & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (preschool/elementary age) monster storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s monster movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini-TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars.Thank you for the free author(s); Dedoni LLC.; FreeBooksy; Amazon Digital Services LLC.; bookTony Parsons MSW (Washburn)

Adorble story about being different
I just loved this book for three reasons. First, it is a story of acceptance. That it is okay to be different. Lorry is a cute little monster. Lorry wants to be just like his family, but he isn't and that is okay. My sun is on the spectrum and we often talk about being different and how that is okay. I loved the story, as it is well-written, meaningful, and cute. Children wiill love this story. Lastly, the graphics are very well done. The book can serve as a picture book for kids too young to read. The story about Lorry was delightful to read. He tries to find solutions in his bookshelves - this is a great lesson for kids to try to figure out answers and solutions. I was impressed with this story and think you will be too. In the end lorry finds out that he is indeed scary. I don't want to give the ending away - so will not elaborate. Truly a cute story. My 11 year old read this and I read to my 2 year old who loved the pictures.

A cute tale about a cute monster
” Too Cute to Spook” is about a cute young monster who wants to scare children. He hates being cute because kids are not afraid of cute monsters. He tries to scare children with loud strange noises, but fails. He tries other things, but they do not work either. But then, something unbelievable happens.Children will enjoy finding out what happened and why it happened.

CUTENESS OVERLOAD
Lorry is a rolly-polly orange monster. His ancestors were really scary. But Lorry has a unique problem for a monster. He looks so cute that he cannot scare children. Lorry tries to make loud noises, extend his claws, and roll in dirt, but nothing seems to make him look scary. One day, Lorry meets up with a group of tough monsters, and an amazing event happens. This book is a cute picture book to allay children's fears about perceived monsters. It's simple and colorful. I would especially recommend it for children who are easily frightened. Perfect choice for toddlers and preschoolers.

Absolutely Adorable Book!
What an adorable and unique way to help children overcome their fear of monsters. Telling the story from the cute little monster's point of view allows the child to identify with the little him and root for him.

Gorgeous Art and a Fun Read
Too Cute to Spook (Special Monsters Collection) by Diana Aleksandrova. Illustrated by Alicia Young. Kindle Edition. Published 15 August 2020 by Dedoni LLC. First Printing. Children’s fiction. 5 Stars.Lorry, the roly-poly, is too cute to be frightening, a fact which saddens him to no end. Round and plump and neon orange to boot, he cannot scare children no matter how hard he tries, but one day he discovers….no—WAIT! You have to read the book! This book contains gorgeous art with healthy colors and a happy ending. Highly recommend!

Monsters Hate Cute Monsters
This book is about a cute monster that can’t scare people because he is so cute, but finds out that monsters are scared by cute monsters. The story is cute and the illustrations are bright and very well done.

Lorry is too cute....
TOO CUTE TO SPOOK by Diana Aleksandrova is a children's story focusing on a young monster named Lorry, a monster who is too cute, and all of the children love him.Told from third person, TOO CUTE TO SPOOK follows Lorry as he endeavors to learn how to be scary; how to be a monster but when a scary gang of monsters attack Lorry, the scary gang is afraid of Lorry...afraid of the 'cuteness' of our story line hero.TOO CUTE TO SPOOK is a short story, with colorful images suitable for children five and up. TOO CUTE TO SPOOK is attempting to teach children 'how to frighten' the monsters that frighten them, such as smile or 'give a monster a big hug, monsters hate hugs'!....My only concern, is the 'real' monsters in the lives of young children, that can't be scared with a smile and a hug.

Too Cute to Put Down
What a clever story. Not only is this book fun, with witty illustrations, it also provides a neat strategy for helping children deal with fears of monsters. No need to be afraid of the monster under the bed when you know you can send it screaming by offering a hug.

Reminds me of one of my childhood favourites- Casper the friendly ghost! Teaches children to see things from a different perspective.

Very cute and funny book - perfect for helping young kids who are scared of monsters!
Lorry really is the cutest, fluffiest little monster! In this beautifully-illustrated book (I had fun looking out for what the mice get up to), Lorry is upset because kids aren’t scared of him. He thinks all the best monsters need to be able to scare lots of kids, just like his gruesome relatives did. Despite reading up on how best to achieve his goal, nothing seems to be working, until he discovers he has a different skill set entirely - one which is much more fun! Lorry‘S cuteness is great for scaring MONSTERS!!With a good lesson about learning to make the most of your natural talents, and not just confirming to what is expected, kids will love this cute book. It will also be especially good for young kids who are scared of monsters, as Lorry even offers tips on how to scare monsters away - which will have even timid youngsters laughing!
