Blinding in dark at full voltage! Looks awesome 👍
Used for lighting 3D print project Dr Who TARDIS windows and top sign backlighting. A) they measure and work as advertised. Measures about 1.8mm height. B) love the . 49" cut spacing vs others at 1.5" C) soldering leads to pads after cutting was easy with a little practice. D) tried resistor and buck converter to lower brightness to reduce heat at lights. Worked great. E) strip length was right, BUT both units I got had been soldered in multiple places, as if from scrap strips. Joints soldered WELL, but I don't like the adhesive backing being the only thing holding segments together in many places. I think other sellers will have same thing though. F) adhesive backing holds VERY well. I had to remove a strip from model. It readhered well enough that I was surprised. G) if you will be enclosing them there by trapping the heat, definitely use reduced voltage. 3v still plenty enough bright, but no significant heat buildup. All the other comparable brands with similar specs to this COB strip have the same power consumption at rated voltage. After using 2, I ordered the Pautix 2m strip in a warmer 3000k light. An extra . 5m for a dollar more. No hesitation recommending these to a DIYer

Very bright!
Exactly what I needed. I can easily plug or unplug it from the USB port on my 3d printer to get a better view. Good adhesive, easy to cut to size, and very bright. Its also a nice bright white without too much blue light. I've had a problem in the past with cheap led lights having a blue tint when they are advertised as daylight or white. Also good to note that all the pictures were taken with no other light sources in the room turned on.

A pleasant blinding surprise
I bought this strip to use in place of a neopixel skinny strip for my 3d printed Dark Saber, since I only wanted white. I chose it since the strip is cheap and appeared as continuous as possible. I had no expectations, and was hoping for just an average LED strip that would have the power to at least light up the blade. After I connected this strip, I was left in a bear catatonic state of slack jawed amazement. These were beyond bright... and I know what I am talking about. My apartment is one of those places that you would swear shares space with a black hole. No matter how many lights, it is always dim and just not bright enough. I have gone through tons of LED strips, COB's, Smart Bulbs, and etc. This strip is literally one of the brightest non-bulb lights I have used. Well, I have had others a bit brighter, but they didn't light up the room like this one does. You can see the picture of teh strip, and that is only half a strip.. my Pixel4A camera through a fit about the brightness :) With a price of $10, you can't non try it out. The only negative I have seen, is that I ordered a 4000K cool LED strip, since warm just wouldn't match the Dark Saber, but this is very very warm. So keep that in mind, these run on the hot side of the spectrum.

Brightest LED strip I have ever seent with my own eyeballs
You've looked at the sun before? This is like that, only in a strip on your car or whatever. Brighter than a really bright thing. Too bright, maybe. If you look at it up close you can see the individual LEDs. I highly recommend not doing this unless blindness is your thing. From a distance, it just looks like a little line of pure sunlight. The stickum is really sticky. I wish it came in longer strips so I could do my whole Camaro.

I've bought too many of these
I have bought so many of these. They are great for creating hidden indirect lighting and run on a simple USB 5V/2A supply. The light quality is very pleasing to the eye, does not cause flickering or eye discomfort. Just make sure you plug it into a proper USB power source, not under powered.

Bright, adhesive sticks well. Low heat
Use these in light boxes 3d printed. They work well and can be trimmed to size. I use cheep phone charger for power and the run 24 7 will no worries about over heating the power supply or lights.

Arrived broken but fixable
I have purchased these for three different projects. The first was for a leg lamp to make it shine in all its glory. Worked perfect! Second arrived with the first section bad. If I moved it a little it would go on and off. Since I had already cut it to fit where I wanted to I figured I might as well try and fix it myself. Cut off the first section and re-soldered it back on. I’m using it for a custom under hood light powered by a Milwaukee M12 battery. The third string is for my tool chest and it works great. With a USB port already in the chest, it turns on whenever I flick the power switch for the outlets to work. I didn’t want them on whenever I had the power strip on so I ordered a usb switch and it works great now. With my garage lights off, in complete darkness, there is now plenty of light. Overall, I am really happy with the lights. The brightness is good, the color is good and the double stick tape is strong. Be careful when you pull the back off. I accidentally pulled one off from the wrong side and took the entire strip with the backing still there! Since it is so sticky, I was able to reapply it to the strip and was goo to go!

Very portable and very bright!
These little 5V strips are amazing for the amount of light that they produce. I use them to underlight a loft and 2 of them is all I need to outshine a role of 30ft of SMD5050 LEDs. I also love how flexible they are. They have a lot of applications for illuminating clothing, area lights, or costume lighting. The only issue is that, when paired with a dimmer, I can hear them squeal a bit and I don't know if that's the dimmer or the LEDs. I'm assuming dimmer. And, being 5V, you can power them off of any power bank. I've used these lights to illuminate camp sites at night of a 10,000 mAh powerbank. It will also be hard to find a longer, brighter, cheaper LED wand for light painting (duct tape a role of these lights to a ski stick) if you are into that, in which case you will definitely want to also invest in a USB extension dimmer switch. I've been using several of these LED strips for several months now and they are still going strong.
