We really liked the look and the name tag on this collar, we actually bought two of them. Tonight our dog Thistle and her friend Bently were sitting next to each other patiently waiting for their Bully Stick, Thistle got hers, turned to go to her spot to chill out & chew, but somehow the metal name plate broke apart, became entangled in Bentley's collar, twisting both collars completely together with no room for either to breath and were both passing out. Bentley (80lbs) did not understand why Thistle (75lbs) was being dragged underneath her until they both dropped. If we were not here to cut the collars immediately, they both would have died.. These are not at all safe for dogs and if you have purchased one I suggest you burn it and get one that isn't so much of a game of Russian Roulette for yout furry friend. Seriously, how are these even being sold. She only wore it for 2 weeks.

DO NOT BUY THIS COLLAR!! My two dogs were playing and wrestling when the bottom jaw of my young dog slipped between the latch and the bottom of the collar on my older dog. While pulling and twisting to get loose, the collar continued to tighten on The older dog until it was strangled her! Even when given slack, the collar wouldn’t loosen. Unbuckling the collar wouldn’t help as this collar is one piece you slip over the dogs head and then snap to make it fit securely. By the time we got to the dogs with a electrical knife to cut the collar off, it was too late! This is NOT a safely designed collar and no dog should wear it! It can easily get hung on barbed wire or tree limbs and strangle your dog!!

DANGER OF STRANGULATION!!The picture above shows by pulling on the outer band the neck tightens. This means that if you dog got the outer band stuck on something and pulled, the collar will choke them to death. Defective product, most collars won’t tighten if the outer band is pulled. I would like a refund but my 30 days was up 2 days ago.

We love our collars! I accidentally ordered the wrong size for one dog and they were quick to respond with a new one! The colors are so vibrant and the name plates don’t jingle!! I will always have one of these for our dogs!

I’ve had this collar for a week. My dog just saw a motorcycle and took off after it, snapping the collar right off of her neck. As you can see, the buckle broke! It took us 30 minutes to track her down, then get her safely home. It was terrifying because she was so vulnerable without any type of identification. She is to be chipped next week! I would not recommend this collar for anyone.

My two Havanese have never worn collars - always halters, and even though they are microchipped, I felt I wanted to have the additional security of a collar with their name and phone number in case they escaped. These are perfect - the name is professional and discreet and I love the fact that when we are out at night the thread glows in the dark when light hits them. I would definitely order these again.

For the price the collar is great, but the engraved tag is not attached adequately. The tag on the first collar I bought lasted for a couple of days and then was lost. I contacted the seller and they said that there was a problem with the tags on the first one. They sent me a replacement collar with a different tag attachment. This tag is attached by an elastic band that fits through each side of the engraved tag. My dog has already pulled half of the tag free and I had to use pliers to fix it. The collar itself is really nice, just the engraved tag that seems to be problematic.

I bought 3 of these collars for my Lab, boxer and chihuahua. I was replacing martingale type collars along with purchasing flat non hanging ID tags after finding my 2 year old Lab with his martingale collar stuck in his mouth, tags and collar stuck so tight in his mouth I had to cut it off because a martingale type collar has a loop that has a tag and leash attach to, but the collar fits over the head with no buckle. What I didn't know when I bought those previous type collars is when the smaller loop is pulled on, it tightens the collar. My lab (being a puppy, chewed on the Rabies and ID tag anging got it in his mouth and the smaller loop of the collar. As he struggled, the collar tightened and was so very tight the more he struggled the tighter it got. Since that type has no opening buckle, I had to cut the collar off, I'm just glad this happened while inside where I could see him start to struggle and strangle himself, had it happened outside, I can't even imagine what would have occurred. So. This is why I chose this collar. It has a very nice heavy duty buckle with a locking feature, is glow in the dark when light is shined on it. And seems to be very well made. I also like the many choices of colors. 5 stars from me!!

I bought this for my wife who tends to go missing once a month, funnily enough whenever there’s a full moon, this only started happening after she was bitten by a wolf during a walking holiday in the Transylvanian forests, this helps people contact me whenever they find her after she goes missing, I got her the red one as it masks the blood stains after one of her monthly jaunts.

Love this colour! Having a black lab a bright collar really helps. I love this with the additional safety latch for peice of mind. I couldn't find how to personalise with our details so I contacted the seller who informed me unfortunately they do longer offer the personalised tag but a very speedy response and I still purchased the product. Looks much more expensive than it is! Matching lead is a must!

Firstly, the clip locks; to open, slide the button and then squeeze the prongs. It would seem that some reviewers have tried and failed (not unexpectedly) to squeeze the prongs without unlocking the clip.Secondly, several reviewers appear to be under the impression - admittedly not unexpectedly from the description - that the neoprene lining forms the inside of the collar all the way around ... it doesn't.Whatever, our two terriers seem relaxed about their new collars. When they're walked we use a harness each, not a lead clipped to the collar, so I can't speak for it loosening when the dog pulls, but I couldn't loosen it by pulling at opposite sides (before fitting).

I was initially very impressed and liked not having a tag which so often get pulled off. However, the metal plate has come off and lost, so no better than a tag. The collar fastening isn’t brilliant quality, although I see a design improvement has been made recently.

The collar is great quality with a good strong fastener, but due to an error the engraving on the tag came back wrong. They added the number 1 to the end of my postcode making the tag useless. However after I let them know about it they are sending me a free replacement. In my view this is great service and I would recommend this collar to everyone who wants a good quality collar and tag that doesn't jingle as the dog walks around. Very happy customer.EDIT: Replacement recieved within 2 weeks, great seller to deal with. 5 stars
