Better than new
Assembly wasn't too difficult using the instruction link that was provided. It worked great. I think many of the bad reviews are from people who are not mechanically inclined and don't assemble it correctly.

So much better than the others
i previously ordered a kit that was less expensive, (by a little), and it was cheap plastic. this final version, used stainless screws to hold the wheel axels on, rather than molded plastic.i'd recommend this dishwasher rack replacement kit.

Perfectly replaced my broken top rack wheel bracket
Kitchenaid Dishwasher top rack was broken this part fixed my issues with no problem. It is slightly thicker than the OEM part so it takes a little more pressure to insert. Repair job took about 10 minutes. I'm happy to have my top rack back in working order, definitely recommend this product.

Cheap Chinese Imports
The original American parts lasted many years in our Kichenaid dishwasher. When I needed top rack parts, I thought these Chinese parts, at a small price compared to the American parts, were a great deal. However, they all fail in a couple of months and it’s a pain to take the tedious time to replace them. If I could buy the American parts now I would pay the premium. That being said, I don’t know if these parts are any better than the last six kits. They all have looked fine and fit nicely and then fell apart in a couple of months of dishwasher heat. So ask me in two months.

Improvement over OEM design with bolt
The main flaw with the original OEM design is a horizontal click on attachment for the wheels that easily breaks. This assembly replaces it with a stainless steel bolt. This design should be much stronger. The rest of the materials are at least as sturdy as the OEM.

Not the right item…
Bought this to replace my original because the tabs holding the rollers broke. Bought this one specifically because the tabs were replaced with stainless steel screws. Lo and behold, what was delivered was the cheap plastic tab version. The same exact one that the pictures call out as the “others”, which was meant to show that their item was better.
