pretty nifty
The media could not be loaded. I was very impressed on my first camping trip. Sets up is simple and burns well with much less smoke than conventional fire "pits". Mesh looks new after 3 nights. Nothing falls trough the mesh except fine ash. I could sit right up close and put my feet under it. I could use it on my deck at home. I was able to move it around very easily I cooked beakfast one morning on it. Everything shakes off the mesh and it packs up small. The only con I have is it is not real sturdy. The construction is fine but it can be knocked over easily. Could use a way to stake it down.I orderd a 22"er as soon as I got home so I could use larger pieces of firewood. It came with an extra screen.

Its perfect!
This was perfect for the campsites that don’t have fire rings or pits. Its super easy to put together & take apart. The mesh screen actually works. The only thing that gets thru it is a fine ash so no mess. The legs pack back up in the tote bag but we didnt put the mesh screen back in there. Too messy. We also put charcoal on ours & did hot dogs so it doubled as a firepit & bbq pit. And it was raining so we did all that under our camper awning. Very pleased with this!

Excellent
Easy to put together, Held up all night, excellent air flow with the mesh netting. When its time to replace it, I'll be getting the larger size.

Excellent purchase and would recommend
Once I figured out that the prongs hold the mesh to the legs, I was golden. Super easy to put together. Incredibly light. The ground underneath does not get hot so I’d feel comfortable putting it on grass. I put water on the last bits and the mesh was cool immediately. I rinsed it well and let it dry on a towel overnight before stowing. But I could have just shaken off the ash instead. Stores easily too.I might end up getting the 22” version but the 16” is great for my driveway needs. We’ll use this for Boy Scouts and getting the kids to practice fire building since no holes need to be dug and I can dump the new fire into the big fire and start again quickly. Big fan!

Great little fire pit
Great little fire "pit", the operative word being little! Worked like a charm with the mesh screen allowing plenty of air around the wood. It's perfect for small spaces!

Fishing/Camping in Wet Conditions
This fire pit is impressive for the money. It handles a LOT more weight than advertised, and keeps fires burning in conditions that would make other options near impossible. We use it for fishing from sandbars / beaches, and sometimes we need the fire right near the water. Could easily put this in 4+ inches of standing water, and still have a fire. The logs we use are generally 16 - 18" long, which do hang over the edge of the pit, but we just pick up the pieces when they fall and stack them back on top. We've found that the "log cabin" style of stacking wood offers the best air flow/fire with this pit. I'd buy it again without question.

Kind of obsessed...
Figuring out how to put this together was a real brain teaser however once I did it's turned out to be a really great little fire pit. Logs burn well and it's a lot safer than it looks and when done I chuck the ashes in the compost and rinse with a hose.
