Beast of a card!
Got lucky and placed an order in November with a shipping date sometime in January 2021. Card arrived Christmas eve and it was a weclomed surprise.Aesthetically, this card is gorgeous with no cheap looking features anywhere. There are copper pipes on the backplate to assist with heat dissapation for the GDDR6X chips! The extra features of this card compared to other 3090s are minor but make a slight difference. This card runs the most quiet among all other brands while costing in the lower bracket. There is no coil whine in my card though yours may vary. The card is heavy and measures 323mm in length with a slot width of 2.7. It barely fits in my Sliger SM580 ITX case.Overall i think it's one of the best 3090 versions out here. The Asus TUF is also really impressive but was unavailable at the time.

Powerful GPU
Purchased 3 years ago, but still a monster of the GPU for either gaming and AI. 24G VRam is the beast!

Works, Feels hefty; Support brace is junk that bends with minimal pressure.
Performance is reasonably good on any game @4k 60 that I've run on it.Fans aren't screaming, even maxed out; and keeps it reasonably cool. The 3 fans blow most of the hot air out the sides into the case, rather than out the back.Theres very little clearance between my Noctua heatsink and the backplate, parasitically heating my cpu a bit. The backplate adds about 3mm above a standard slot, so something to be aware of before buying. The brace to support the card is junk. It can't support the weight of the card, and can be bent with light pressure from one finger. The piece of sheet metal needs a few more creases and probably a little heavier weight material to make it strong enough to support the card. I may fabricate something myself bc it is a very heavy card to support partly by the PCIE slot in a vertical orientation. It certainly puts a lot of strain on solder joints and PCB motherboard. The card has no issues other than the junk support. You will have to determine if this card vs AMD is the better value, with the market conditions at time of purchase.

Incredible performance but a steep price premium! Plus Amazon is charging $100 over MSRP!
Obviously the 3090 is the best gaming card you can get right now. The MSI Gaming Trio X specifically is probably the 3rd best performance wise after the ASUS ROG Strix and MSI's own Suprim. That being said those cards are even harder to find than this one.I would have preferred to get a 3080, but it's incredibly hard to purchase those cards. At $800 the 3080 is a steal compared to the 3090 since you are basically paying double for a 10% increase in performance. Amazon has also decided to charge $100 more for the MSI Gaming X Trio which normally retails for $1589, but Amazon has increased pricing by $100 to $1689.I know there have been recent reports from ASUS that manufacturing and COVID has caused increase pricing across the board for this year, but Amazon was charging these rates last year. That being said this card is still a beast in terms of performance. The card itself is incredibly large and takes up 3 PCIe slots on your motherboard and also comes with a support frame to help hold it up in your case. It's incredibly tricky to get the support frame installed since it goes on top of the screws for your existing motherboard. And those PCI mesh grills that cover unused slots on your motherboard are incredibly tricky to hold steady when laying this frame on top to screw in.The MSI has some understated LED lights and does use 3 PCIe power connectors. I think most 3090 cards need three cables, but most power supplies only come with two, so you will need to purchase an extra one if you don't have a spare one lying around.Overall a great card, but would have preferred to purchase a 3080 if stock was available.

What a beast!
I've been running MSI only GPUs now for 10 years solded and this one will be no different from the ones of the pass. Easy to install, very well made and is very much geared from gaming. Very heavy card that comes with a support bracket which is made nicely. One would think with the triple fans the nose would be loud, but their not. I hear the case fans before the GPU and I run everything on 4k.

So far so great!
Had to replace my new AMD 6950 XT due to abnormal noise during performance of any high demand. The card had sudden shuttering when FPS dropped randomly. I order this 3090 for around the same price and so far not a peep during benchmarking, quiet and smooth through all gameplay. Benched higher too. So far, I'm happy with the product.
