The blades on these knives are tiny, but effective. I use this ceramic-bladed craft knife to cut the protective plastic/paper on diamond painting canvases after I've marked off sections with washi tape. Once I'd got the hang of it, I found it the perfect tool for this purpose. It cuts neatly through the overlay and washi tape so I can just peel them off the canvas within the marked-off area.When I've finished a section, I lay the plastic back over it and run the blade between the drills and the tape at the side where the plastic remains attached, angling it slightly toward the drills. Where there's just tape marking the cutting line, it's best to use a thin metal ruler as a straight edge against which to cut along the tape line. Note: the blade, tiny as it is, CAN cut through the canvas (which I discovered trying to remove double-sided tape from the edge of a painting), so it's necessary to watch the cutting angle and monitor the pressure applied. (If the canvas does get cut, it should be sealed when I apply brush-on sealant to the finished diamond painting. Two coats might be necessary.)

I like everything about the product.I am new at Diamond painting and this has changed the way that I am able to do a section of my project.They have just the right amount of sharpness without damaging the painting when I cut the plastic overlay.

I use it for cutting the plastic wrap on diamond paintings. It cuts through the wrap easily with very little pressure, saving the heartache of cutting into the canvas. Definitely recommend

They don't work very well. Hard to cut in straight line. Also cut my canvas when it says it doesn't.

I love these to be honest, I use them for my diamond painting and cutting the plastic to the size I want. It doesn’t go through the mat which is awesome! As long as they don’t break off (which I had happen with a cheap version) they will last a lifetime.
