Mighty Plug Headphone Amplifier with Bluetooth & USB

I’ve been playing guitar for over 30 years and this has to be the best innovation yet: plug it into the guitar, plug headphones in, pair a phone over Bluetooth and stream backing tracks or YouTube tutorials through the mighty plug and play along. So easy to use and the sound is fantastic! You can even edit the effects on the mighty plug, using a downloadable app which then connects to your mighty plug over Bluetooth! It’s a seriously good piece of kit.

It simple to use, the pre-programmed sounds are usable out of the box, which is good as the app is a tad hard to navigate because it gives you so many options. You can shape your sound to your heart's content and it works. I'd like a PC version of the software (or Mac) as I find using my phone a little awkward (I'm old), but it's not too tricky to do. Outputting the audio to a computer or phone to record is excellent - the ASIO driver works extremely well, latency is minimal, and the recorded sounds are crisp and balanced. The only thing I have against this I have against all modelling amps, is that they reduce the uniqueness of the sound, and make things a tad generic. But it's spiffingly good generic.

This is my first sojourn into guitar effects devices. I've no idea how good this might be. It works and it comes with an app. You can change the settings and play banking tracks and drum beats. It's easy to use.

Got this when my vox amplug disintegrated in me. Double the price but double the features, double the durability and much better all round performance. Its rock solid and sounds good. I love the fact that you can control via bluetooth rather than having knobs or dials and tha that bluetooth also allows you to jam along with the external source. Im a bassist by trade, but i like that this is usable for bass or guitar and the amp models and effects are good.... No need to buy a specific BASS plug in amp. usb charging is a bonus too... No more faffing with batteries!

Received item promptly and in good order. Nice solid feeling piece of kit. Impressive range of amps and effects. The app worked well. However on a few settings it suffered from a high frequency tone which could only be reduced by turning down tone controls on guitar or app which made for a dull sound. I tried different guitars (Strat and Tele) and various headphones/earbuds. The noise gate on the app was ineffective. This problem has been reported on other guitar forums so I don't think it's a faulty item. On the AC30 setting the problem is not apparent and it sounds great, but on cleaner sounds it's a real nuisance. Manufacturer's customer support was not able to help. I have returned the unit. Edit: I have added a star to reflect good feedback from the supplier, although their advice didn't solve the problem. Maybe it was my setup or a faulty unit.

Great little box of tones. Loads of fun and sink comes out the box with plenty of flexibility and the app is a twiddlers dream

Don’t often write reviews but this is a superb bit of kit. Easy to use out of the box but the sounds weren’t up my taste, however by using the app and flicking through the range of options I’d replaced the heavy distorted sound with one to my liking within a few minutes. I read some complaints about levels and how these jumped from sound to sound but I’ve found there is scope to control them within the settings in the app simply enough. Just wish they had these when o stared playing 30 years ago!!!

Brilliant product can practice while my wife watches her soaps. Brilliant sound with good ear buds great value for the small outlay. the app works very well. great and convenient product 5 stars
