These rods are useless -- most of them I couldn't open.
Rods are almost impossible to open. My right thumb was bleeding from trying so hard. I used about 16 out of 48 -- those that would still open with extreme difficulty. The rest I could not open and threw in the waste basket. So disappointing -- my mom didn't get her perm that day. Really a very bad product. Way to small
I had to have read this wrong. These were too small and I have a lot of hair. Sent them back for a refund.

i bought these cos i wanted to do myself a perm after seeing on the internet thingy that perms are quite fashionable for my demographic (male 25-30) but i kid you not once i saw what was involved in doing a perm i really could not be bothered. i mean my hair is naturally a bit wavy and i'd of liked some more tight curls but seriously i'd need to put the entire pack of these things in my hair and fiddle about with all sorts of chemistry sets to get me perm to fix....no thanks. so i bought a pair of straighteners and straightened my hair instead. but i am sure if i was to use these they'd be great, but nobody got time for perms, its not 1989.

Quite thing so if your looking for a lot more curls theses will deffo do the job, i did have quite a few snap on me though when trying to do the curl. But bound to happen!

Absolutely perfectI was unsure after reading reviews about quality of the product and concerns over clip. It may differ from hair type but for normal straight hair, it works very well.

Cute tight curls
Cute tight curls. Its easy to get hair caught up in the elastic bit, causing knots and ripping. But once you get used to using them it doesn't happen a lot.I have thick hair and there are enough to cover all of it.
