I really like these counter sinks. They drill quickly and clean. I use them on all of my wood projects from treated lumber decks to building furniture pieces for the family. They remain sharp and last for quite a while. On my last bit I built a 12 ft. x 12 ft. deck with steps, a 5 ft. x 8 ft. deck with steps (counter sinking all of the deck screws), a book case, a cabinet for my wife and a couple of tall outdoor Adirondack chairs before retiring the bit. This set with 5 bits should last a long time. One secret to getting them to last is drilling like a machine, straight in and straight out. I gave my dad (in his 80's) 2 counter sinks and they didn't make it to 10 drill holes. He would kind of go in straight and would start tilting his drill on the way out and they would snap. I gave him a couple more and he improved his drill skills. With reasonable care these will last. I'm Happy !

This is the 2nd time ordering for my company. the builders really seem to like them. I will continue to purchase as long as they are available.

They work as well and the inset hole is well-formed. They cut through wood like butter. If I had time I would make a video. Well worth the $35 I spent.

The sets of bits work well and cut effortlessly but the tapered drill bit should be about 25% longer. Otherwise no complaints.

A woodworking friend of mine gave on one last year while I was building handrails on his deck. I’ve been hooked ever since. I build handicap ramp and have a lot of pickets to install and decking boards. We countersink each picket top and bottom and the outside of each decking board to prevent splitting. They are AWESOME. We were using a regular drill bit but many were broken. These will also break but not as fast as the drill bits. 2 very important things, no direction on how to open the container, hold bottom and pull top. Next, be careful closing container, make sure all bits are all the way down or if you push top of the lid down fast and a bit is not resting on bottom it will come through the top and OUCH. They are very sharp. That said, if you’ve never used this countersink you will love them. I just bought another set.

These bits works well out of the box. I’ve bought several sets of them. However, after using them for approximately 10 minutes the cutting collar stops spinning. When I attempted to use the Allen key to tighten the collar the key reams out the set screw. This makes it impossible to tighten the set screw anymore. It appears the set screw is of poor quality hence the reason it teams out when any attempt is made to tighten it securely
