Wasserstein3-in-1 Floodlight, Charger, and Mount (for Arlo Pro 3/Pro 4 and Ultra/Ultra 2 Cameras)

This thing worked like a champ for 3 years. It comes on when I walk up to my door, it charges my Arlo Pro camera. Just works.A couple of days ago it stopped coming on. So I took it down and water started leaking out of the sensor area. I guess it is filled with water? I did mount it under an eave (horizontal mount), and we have had heckin sideways rain lately.I am disappointed, but I just bought another one because there isn't another option with an integrated Arlo charger. I'm not sure how to seal this one better. The foam seal it comes with seems pretty comprehensive. I guess maybe some caulk? Anyway, point is it's good enough where I bought another. That should say something.

Ok, it took a while but I figured out what was wrong. When I first installed this, my camera would not charge. I. Allen tech support and they sent me a link to a blog that basically said charging is not supported, blah, blah, blah! I argued with tech support about the legitimacy of calling it a charger and got no where. So back up the ladder 20’ to change the battery. While I was up there, I decided to disassemble it and see if there was something missing, and fortunately, I found it! Anyone that is having a charging issue, please, take a moment and check the usb connection to the floodlight housing. When you plug it in, it is a tight fit and will seem like it is fully inserted, but it really isn’t. Once I figured this out, it has worked perfectly. This is something that tech support should make customers aware of.On a different note, don’t write a bad review on a product because you are not capable of replacing or installing a floodlight and that it’s not plug and play, or that it requires a junction box, or you had to hire an electrician. For one, the use of a junction box is for the safety of the building and its occupants. It is actually a building code that all electrical connections are to be in a junction box. Secondly, nothing in this listing said this product was plug and play or that it came with magic pity dust that made installation as simple as waving your magic wand! Lastly, in life, if you are not capable and or qualified in any field, you will have to hire a professional! Don’t write a bad review for these reasons, it’s really doing a disservice to all!

The more light the better

Usb charger still works but flood lights do no anymore. Only been one year.

It’s good but could be better.Installation was not difficult and the light is bright. The two spotlights also do have a decent amount of physical adjustability vertically and horizontally. Plus the charging of the camera has worked without issue.However, there is absolutely no adjustability in the lighting itself. It does not stay on without motion and you can’t adjust the sensitivity or duration of the motion.Unlike other exterior lights you can’t set it up to be on a low light setting when dark and then increase it when it senses motion. That would make it ideal.

I was stumped as to how I was going to mount my arlo camera out above my driveway. I had a light there already but it seemed silly that there was no way to hardwire power to the camera. Then I discovered this light fixture while browsing Amazon thinking I should invent this very thing and make my fortune wondering why no one had thought to fill this obvious need. Anyway, light is very bright and helps the camera see clearly. Mission accomplished.

Make sure you have the camera that it is designed for. The light works well, wish it had higher lumens. This is installed on my garage and replaced a light with 1.5 more lumens so appears dark in comparison. Also would be nice if there was an option for dusk to dawn light as well as the three timed with motion options.

Installed in about 45 minutes from the moment I open the box. I love it. Very great camera that picks up all motion, which is what I want. You can turn the sensitivity down if you don’t want that. Bright floodlight that turns on when it senses motion.

Received a damaged product

The media could not be loaded.  This is the first Wasserstein 3-in-1 I purchased, it replaced an existing floodlight. What sold me on it was that it comes with a USB charging port. It works great and keeps my Arlo Pro 4 charged and lights up my walkway and parking area when I'm out and about in the dark. We have extremely cold weather down to -30C (-22F) and sometimes colder, no problems with the Arlo shutting down in cold weather with it plugged in. I just received a second unit and another Pro 4 that I will install when the weather warms up a bit.

I ordered and installed two of these. The one installed flawlessly. The other took a bit more work. Nice bright lights, but one light stopped working after six months.Update - Wasserstein reached out after seeing my original post, wasted my time by asking for more details and photos, then said they couldn't help me because the unit was out of warranty, something they would've known at the outset.
