Amazing keyboard and I havent even modded it yet! (brown switch)
The media could not be loaded. Main takes:-Great keyboard out of the box, no modding required.-A good buy for $80, but a steal if you can get it on sale for less than $50 or even $60-Blues->you wanna annoy your siblings and everyone else in the house-Browns->good in-between for both gaming and school/work-Reds->primarily used for gaming-Great battery life and uses usb cOut of the box this keyboard is amazing! I have been using these for 2 months for both gaming and coding. I originally wanted the red switches, but the browns were on sale for $45. I just couldn't pass that deal since I could buy red switches to swap later if I didn't like them!Even though, they're supposedly louder, it is nowhere near as loud as the blues, but not as quiet as red switches. I would say it is a great in-between. During calls or chats, people dont hear my keyboard typing. In my video, I had my phone extremely close to the keyboard so it may sound louder. Brown switches are tactile switch, meaning there's a "bump" feeling as you press the key. I would say its great for typing and good for gaming. Reds on the other hand are linear (no bump) which are great for gaming and okay for typing. It is a bluetooth/wired keyboard! I dont have to change out any battery since its built-in rechargeable, but I do need to charge it from time to time. the battery life is very long and a charge usually last 3weeks to a month even though I use it everyday. Any usb c would work. I have a single cable that I use to charge my phone, keyboard, and mouse on my desk.I mainly bought this for future modding. I want to eventually lube the switches (if not totally changing it) and do the foam and tape mod on the keyboard. After I've dont it, ill post an update to this review!

Nice Wireless mechanical keyboard for a developer
I love this keyboard. I love the brown keys, if you are doing a lot of typing then these keys are softer on your fingers and also makes less clicky sound. I also love the RGB themes and size of the keyboard (TKL). It can connect to 3 different BT devices (desktops, laptops and iPads etc.) and battery life is also amazing.

How many is too many?
This is my third Keychron and I am really happy with them all. The typing experience is very satisfying, which is what I'm after, and I like everything about them. Their prices are absolute bargains. I have other keyboards which I also like, and have bought 2 or 3 that looked good, but had to be returned. I appreciate the shine through keycaps and also like the feel and shape. There is a slight lag upon wakeup that requires an extra keystroke, but because of the quality, typing experience and price, I am totally okay with that.

PLEASE ADD QMK/VIA SUPPORT IF POSSIBLE - ILL EVEN BUY THE UPDATED MODEL OF THIS IF I HAVE TO!!!!
Okay, I was skeptic at first. I bought this to use for both my 2021 iPad M1 (which is what i’m using, and i’m literally typing out this review on this keyboard).Switches: <insert clever mx browns reference>(I used a mix of Kalih Royals, Hako Trues, and used some of the stock browns. Swapped stock springs to 80g. Filmed and lubed. These are my function keys. Feels great)Keycaps: Cheap. Expected though. Once I can find a nice MT3 set keycaps with Mac function keys - i’ll be switching over to those. The stock ones aren’t awful. They include the windows alternatives. They’re really just run-of-the-mill-generic-as-heck-chinese-keycaps. Nothing special. The font of them is nice though and the parts of the keycaps that aren’t shine through are very clearly visible. Not impressed - but not unsatisfied. Most likely won’t bother the average consumer.Lighting: It’s not bad! Coming from someone who doesn’t give a crap about RGB backlighting. I just wanted a white backlight to be honest. Many different lighting functions to please everyone and their grandma.Build Quality: I received a plastic model. Saw they had an aluminum base plate out of stock on their website. I don’t really care as this thing is supposed to be very portable for me. Just to keep this part short, its good enough to work and doesn’t feel cheap. The bluetooth connects super freaking quick. Very pleased with that.I subtracted one star from this product however due to the lack of QMK/Via support. If you have no idea what this is - don’t worry about it then as it most likely doesn’t effect you. It’d be really nice if the company supported this. It’d allow anyone to modify their layouts and experience just by using software - which the company doesn’t even have their own software to support this board. Skip the middle-man/software developer payments and just have the dang thing support QMK/Via!!!Just a little disclaimer - no where ever on their website or this product page outlines that the board supports QMK/Via - this is simply my plea to them to consider this as i’m sure they have already. I’d love to know why they don’t though. Finally - The hotswap sockets.. This was my first experience ever using these things. I just recently built my own board using a soldering iron and everything so I was extremely comfortable ripping this thing apart. Thankfully, their sockets worked pretty much flawlessly. I can’t say anything bad about em.

7/10 right out of the box. 10/10 with some mods.
Right out of the box, this thing works well and is enjoyable to use. With some mods and a bit of time, it's amazing. Padded the PCB, added sound deadening to the case. lubed, filmed, and PTB caps w/ damps. I know it sounds like a lot but if you are smart about it, it's only another $30-$35 with the result being much like a $400 mech. The THOCC is real.Pros: Hotswap, Bluetooth, RGB for under a $95....Cons: RGB is not the brightest.Have to plug it in to access BIOS, but that would be any bluetooth board, just pointing it out.The legends on the stock keycaps is small print. Might be too small for some. Highly recommend replacing.

Fantastic keyboard
First mechanic keyboard I’ve owned and I have really enjoyed my time with it. Been using it for months now, it has great battery life, a really nice typing experience, and the multi device pairing is so convenient. Overall my favorite keyboard I’ve ever owned. Wish I could control the RGB a bit more, but not a huge deal at all.

The best keyboard I ever had.
Really good looking and very (VERY) well built keyboard. Perfect feel on the keystrokes (and the key them selves are very good on touch too).
