Vic FirthDrum Key (VICKEY2)

I do marching band and I’m currently in the battery, I usually end up adjusting my harness on my own and occasionally tune my own drum, people say that the keys strip easily however they do not, great quality, good weight, easy to use, amazing value

I purchased this to make it easier to tune and replace heads for my school's drumline. it has a great feel and a magnet to keep it from coming off the tension rods too easily. it makes what used to be a painful experience with a smaller key, a more enjoyable experience.

I used to own the original Vic Firth High Tension drum key many years ago when I was in drum corps as a kid and over the years I used it many times and served so many purposes... In the moving process from Florida to Virginia I managed to lose my key so I have always wanted to get another one especially now that I work with local high school Drumlines... I saw this newly style High Tension Drum Key and I noticed it was produced by Vic Firth as well I had to give it a shot and it has simply delivered ✅✅✅ I love the new clip included on the key so now you are less prone to losing the drum key when not using it because you can clip it on to something for easy access at a later time.... I also love the new plastic handle added for my grip when tuning and cranking down your drum heads... All in all it is a great High Tension Drum Key and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to anyone that needs one 🔴

Metal is not hard enough. A piano proves to be its torque limit, it’s marring and bending the key.

Got this to change a head on a marching snare. Exactly what I needed and my 7th grade student could even use it and get the job done.

I bought this for my son who is on his high school's drumline. Very good quality and he uses it really often!
