Easy upgrade and detected without any issues

I bought a laptop that didn't come with much RAM (4GB) so I get this stick of RAM and now I wish that would I would of bought 2 sticks.

The RAM is genuine and works well. It passed Memtest86 successfully. But it came in cheap pink plastic bags instead of OEM Samsung packaging and the modules had the Nvtek warranty sticker on them. This makes me doubtful if it's new or repurposed RAM. I'd be wary of ordering from Nvtek.

I can confirm that this Samsung 16GB DDR4 3200MHz PC4-25600 1.2V 2Rx8 260-Pin SODIMM, actually runs at 3200MHz in my MSI GS66 Stealth, i7, 10th gen. intel with RTX 3060. I was worried at first with some of the ratings stating in their rig it wouldn't run that speed without XMP. My Laptop came with 2 8gb sticks that were running at 3200MHz so it must be tuned for that speed from the factory, as my rig has no XMP setting in BIOS to access. The example shown of the item, on Amazon, shows it to be made in Korea, mine is marked Philippines, I cant say if that makes a difference in the speed. I did reboot it once after install, and after that all was fine. CPU-Z reports. all that is stated about this module is correct. My only concern is, if I order another 16gb module, where will it be manufactured, and will it work smoothly with my existing memory. As a side note. I used a suction cup and plastic knife, to remove the bottom from my GS66. I found the suction cup idea from someone on youtube. I'm eternally grateful for the idea. I wish it was mine. Take your time dis-connecting the battery, ( yes you should do it ).Edit: Purchased a second 16g module. All is well. All legit. Samsung memory is manufactured in Philippines from micro SD cards to all types of PC memory.

32Gb modules don't work with the Synology 920+ unfortunately. Most people have upgraded their 920+ with 16Gb 2666MHz modules. However the cost of a 16Gb 3200MHz module is not much more than a 16Gb 2666MHz module, so I upgraded my Synology 920+ with this Samsung 16Gb 3200 MHz memory module. I have installed software, created containers, installed certificates, downloaded information to and from the NAS without issues. In fact the memory upgrade noticeably increased the speed at which the NAS functions. I am elated by the resulting performance increase and the increase in memory to run applications; I highly recommend this Samsung 16Gb 3200MHz memory module for Synology NAS upgrades.

Just added this new ram stick to the original stick that installed in my laptop.After running COD Warzone for a few hours, the FPS jumps from 100 to 135 (!). Dual channel is very important for gaming and this ram stick is doing a great job.

Item works great so far based on the tests I have run. However, I was really concerned that it shipped in a plastic bag and bubble wrap (no hard packaging to protect the chip at all). It also was not shipped in a box, so the ram could have easily been crushed/broken in shipping. Thankfully it did arrive fine but I would be cautious about ordering.

... nach dem Einbau sieht es zunächst so aus als würde der Speicher nicht erkannt. Bitte einfach eine Weile warte das Das Notebook einen Speichertest durchführt. Dieser kann bis zu 5 min dauern. Danach läuft alles ganz normal und der Speicher wird beim nächsten starte auch sofort erkannt

I installed this memory module on my Synology 920+. It booted up normally in a few minutes. Then I used Synology Assistant to test the memory. The test took a few hours to complete. Finally I SSH'd into the box and checked the logs to make sure it passed the test.
