Fats Domino is a true legend
Being from Louisiana, Fats Domino's music has been part of the fabric of my life for almost as long as I can remember. I was a kid when my mom bought one of his greatest hits album back in the '70s. I didn't know then what a treat I was in for learning to love his songs. My mom had been a teenager in the '50s and fondly remembered dancing to Fats at high school dances. She especially remembered doing The Stroll to "I Want to Walk You Home." For everyone who has a fondness for Fats this collection is nearly perfect. The only glaring omission I can think of is the lack of "I'm Gonna Be a Wheel Someday." Otherwise, crank this up, do The Stroll, and let Fats make your day better.
