Signal Shield High Quality Faraday Box for Car Keys, RFID Blocking Box, Anti-Theft Keyless Fob Protector, Approved Large Car Key Safe

Got this after reading about relay attacks on keyless cars and wanted some peace of mind. We pop both sets of car keys in here every night and it completely blocks the signal. Tested it myself by standing next to the car with the fob inside the box and the car didn't respond at all, so it definitely works. The box itself is well made, nice leather effect finish on the outside so it looks decent sat on the hallway table rather than some ugly metal cage. Big enough to fit both our fobs in with room to spare. The magnetic closure keeps it shut properly. It's one of those things you hope you never actually need but for the peace of mind it gives, especially with how common keyless car theft is these days, it's a no brainer. Much better than wrapping your keys in tin foil like my dad suggested.

Car will not unlock even when next to it with keys in the box. Open the box and the car will unlock, so does exactly what it says it does. Also pretty good quality and looks nice.

Top quality box to keep your car keys in, should last much longer than the pouches which only work for a couple of months. Would definitely recommend very sturdy and lid closes secure and firm.

Awesome. Works as it should so no signal leakage. And plenty of space to keep several such fobs in. Looks nice as well- rather like a jewellery box as nice soft felt like lining.

So far it works. Put new car keys in and walked to the car which didn’t unlock. Opened the box and it unlocked. Closed the box and a relocked. Looks nice and feels nice quality. I will check it regularly to make sure it still works.

I'll hold my hands up and say: I wasn't expecting much for my £21.99 Faraday Box, from a company I'd never heard of and what was essentially a knee-jerk purchase. That morning, I'd taken delivery of a car with keyless entry & keyless start - something I'd always tried to avoid. Having heard that a friend's son had had his vehicle taken from his driveway in 2023, I took to Amazon to purchase some form of Faraday Box for my car keys, which made me stumble upon the Signal Shield. It arrived the next day and I treated it with my usual skepticism: "It's £22, is it REALLY going to deter opportunist car thieves from wirelessly pilfering my vehicle from off my driveway?" Well, yes, actually... My test was simple: I place both my car keys in the Signal Shield box, closed it and walked up to my car outside. I tried to open the driver and passenger doors with the box as close to the vehicle as I could reasonably get. The doors did not open... Once I'd opened the lid, exposing the keys to the outside world, I could then successfully open the doors - excellent! Test number 2: I got in the car and closed the box again, closed the door and waited for 3-ish minutes, then attempted to start the car with the push button. No joy - the car did not fire up. This product has done exactly what I expected it to and for some reason I'm quite shocked by that. It's also far less money than I was expecting to pay for a solution which just worked. Many times I'll purchase something with little to no research, only for it to be "good enough, but not quite what I'd hoped for". However, I'm extremely impressed with the Signal Shield. If I can't enter or start the vehicle with the keys right beside me, I'm confident that the undesirables will be unable to hijack the signal with the box under the bed a good 30-40 metres away. I have no hesitation in recommending the Signal Shield. It works well, it's a nice looking item (about the dimensions of 3 Betamax cassettes stacked on top of each other) and won't break the bank. It took the skeptic in me and gave it a knock out punch. To say I'm pleased with my purchase is an understatement, well done Signal Shield!

Works perfectly I had the key fob inside the box while I was sitting inside the car and the car would not start. The car could not pick up the key fob RFID frequency while it was inside the box. The box is on the small side but it's very well constructed the lid seals nice and tight. The box looks and feels very elegant. I'm very impressed! Would definitely purchase again if needed.

Looks great, put the keys in the box close it went into the car push to start, vehicle advised keys weren’t detected. Great price & it works!!

So I was skeptical about whether it would actually block the signal but it actually does. It blocks my garage door opener, car alarm and remote starter. Really stylish and nice design with a leather like liner on the outside. Really like this and it actually does what it says it does.

I put the Key Fob in the box and went to the truck. With the box next to the handle the truck would not unlock. Product works. Just wish the box was bigger.

You know when you buy something and pray it isn’t junk? Well this box actually works and this is how I know. Upon receiving the box, I grabbed my fob and walked toward my car. Lights went on and I was able to unlock the door with a touch of my hand. I locked the car and walked about 20’ out the fob in the box, closed it securely and then walked back to my car. No lights, couldn’t unlock the door. Then I took the fob out of the box, unlocked the door, sat in the car and put the fob back in the box and guess what. The car did not start. It feels good to k ow that our fobs and cars are safe from someone trying to copy our fob frequencies. Excellent product!
