For use with lightweight items
This UHU Tac HomeDeco from Saunders is a nail free way to hand small, lightweight things on your wall without marring the wall. This package includes 32 squares of white, glue pads. The pads are attached to each other and although the directions say to tear the pads off, you'll want to use scissors or a knife. Trust me on this. Once you cut off the squares, you knead them between your fingers til they are soft and pliable and then attach the pad firmly to the item and then press it firmly to the wall or surface. Make sure the surface on the item and the wall are both clean and dry.If your wall is heavily textured, the adhesion will not be very good. This works best when attaching to smooth surfaces. The glue pads are removable without any damage to walls. There could be a bit of reside left behind but it's easily removed by using another pad to press down on it and pick up all the residue. The weight limit as per Saunders is 4.4lbs but that is under optimum conditions using 6 squares of adhesive attached 2-4" apart on the item. Your mileage may vary depending upon the item but it's best to consider these for use with lightweight items like posters and small pictures, fairy lights, small decorations, etc. These are quite handy for apartment dwellers who cannot mar the walls. They are also great for hanging children's artwork or lightweight signage. My only issue is that I think the product is expensive. I have used similar products that cost less.

A simple, reusable product that successfully hangs up smaller items over various surfaces.
I've had my eye on these products for a while, but have gotten by just using double sided tape in my classroom or creating my own. Using an adhesive product that can be reusable is quite the selling point and I was excited to give this a go. The surfaces in my room vary from dry wall to mostly painted concrete blocks or masonry. It is important that your surfaces are clean as it will impact the effectiveness of this product. The recommendation is to tear off one square and to mold a bit so that it becomes more pliable. You can certainly use as much or little as needed as I have gotten by using half squares for smaller items or doubling up for larger ones. The maximum supported weighed is something I would not want to test out, especially for something you valued, but for simpler things such as posters this will do the trick. Removing the product from the wall will leave some residue that requires additional time to clean. Overall, I have successfully used this over the various surfaces I mentioned above and believe that this is a worth while product. Utility vs expense will be determined by the user but I believe it is priced competitively given your ability to reuse the product.

Works to Re-Attach Air Fresheners to Garbage Cans
This SAUNDERS UHU TAC HOME DECO REUSABLE PUTTY (2.1 oz (60g), 32 pads (48710)) is useful to have on hand for attaching lightweight items to all sorts of surfaces. It’s definitely reusable, and it comes off smooth surfaces without leaving marks. (I’d recommend testing it in an unobtrusive area before using it on a painted wall, but would expect it to come off without pulling off a layer of paint.)My favorite use is for re-attaching Air Wick Stick-Ups to the inside of my garbage can. I have to remove the Stick-Ups when I roll the can to the curb for pickup, or they’ll fall out with the trash when the can is emptied. This reusable putty makes it easy to pull them off and stick them back on.The main key to success is to use enough putty pads to handle the weight of your object. This UHU TAC product is intended to hold items up to 4.4 lbs. “under optimal conditions”. For slightly heavier objects, try UHU TAC PROPOWER.

Good To Keep On Hand As It Can Really Come In Handy- Like It’s Keeping A Kitchen Cupboard Closed Until I Can Get It Rehung
Uhu putty works very well for hanging small and light items on the wall. It comes scored, so I just use regular scissors to cut through it and push the little squares on the back of whatever I want to hang. I’ve used it instead of tape to hang unframed posters in my son’s room, and it works well. It comes in handy for others things too. I put Uhu under a small bedside table lamp and other small items to keep them in place. My favorite oddball use has been to put a square on the inside of a cupboard door to an upper cabinet in order to keep the door closed. The door just won’t stay shut on its own, and I need the door rehung but this is an easy temporary fix. I can still open and close the cupboard (though it’s not a cupboard I go into often). Uhu is removable and can be repositioned, and I’ve noticed no damage to paint or other surfaces. Uhu is just one of those things that’s good to keep on hand as you never know when it may come in handy. 4 stars.

Didn't hold up light frames and small (light) mirror.
Did NOT hold up anything but paper. While it says it will hold up heavier things, it didn't....at least not for more than a few hours, and then I would hear, bang, as whatever I put up came down. So, what did I put up? Picture, poster, a couple of different sized frames (4x6 and 8x10) with acrylic not glass (so not very heavy) and a little mirror. The picture and poster stayed up, but that was it. The frames and the mirror came down in less than 3 hours. The strips appear to be pre-cut, but they aren't They are scored and when you try to take them apart they stretch and do not split cleanly. They came in a nice package. They did NOT easily peel off, but I did manage (except the paper and picture).I should note that I tried to use this on paneling, plaster and wood. I guess it would work better on a more porous surface like brick, concretes etc.
