I wanted a UV Sanitizer but I feel like I just bought a portable black light. You can feel the heat (DO NOT PUT ON YOUR SKIN YOU WILL BURN YOURSELF) But to test it out, I put the wand on germy surface for 20 seconds as directed and nothing changed. Idk but If I didn’t have to go up to a ups to return it, I would definitely not have this thing taking up space and collecting dust in my house. Just don’t get it.

It’s a total fake!!! I conducted the banana test on it and it did NOTHING. Do not buy!!!

Update: Hi all, I have finally gotten around to testing this UVC light and was satisfied with the results. It was a simple at-home test using agar plates I bought (from amazon), cotton swabs, my own mouth bacteria, and the UVC light in question. For my untreated agar plate, I swabbed my mouth and created 2 distinct lines on the plate using the swab. I then taped it and put it in an isolated area so that it wouldn't be disturbed. For the treated plate, I repeated the same process, but I then held the UVC light over the plate for approx 3 hours. (excessive I know, but I wanted to test the legitimacy, not the efficacy). After this, I then put the plate with the other and left them alone for a few days (occasionally checking on them to see the progress). After 4 days, I was able to see definitive growth on the untreated plate, and little-to-no growth on the treated plate. I have included photos of my results. In the first photo, I used flash so that you can see the lines from the swabs so that you can see that I did in fact swab both plates. In the second photo, you can see the growth results compared to each other.REMEMBER, this is a $50 product, I was not expecting it to work as well as it did, but I am pleased with how it works. I would like to find time to test the efficacy of the light in the near future, but that is something I'll do if I am bored and doing nothing around the house. Nonetheless, it is definitely a legit UVC light.ORIGINAL: As someone in the med-tech industry, I have been looking to purchase these UV-C wands because of their disinfecting properties. Because of COVID, I have been more hypervigilant about disinfecting my everyday items and have wanted to add one of these to my collection! I have previously ordered my "no touch key" from this seller and was suprised to see that they sold these UV-C wands and since I was satisfied before I figured I'd stick with them again.Well im glad I did! Their price point was amazing, the product is really aesthetically pleasing to my tastes, AND I got my product earlier than expected. I even reached out to the seller to ask for their EPA information that validates their product works the way its supposed to, and they were more than willing to give me what I asked for (especially because I knew what to look for).I'm planning on running my own tests as well but it was very relieving to see that they take these things seriously too!10/10 would buy again from this seller and i would recommend this product to anyone looking!
