Whetstone Cutlery Tactical Survival Hunting Knife

This knife comes very sharp out of the box. The blade is a little under 5 in. It's about 4.67 in. The survival kit is very cool! The kit sometimes gets stuck inside the handle and takes a little bit of force to get it out. I would recommend this knife to any first time fixed blade users. You are getting what you are paying for. The handle is very grippy and fits my hand well, but I have small hands. I would definetly buy this!

Bought this knife for a "go bag". I have a bag at home and one for the car. I needed one more knife. Good sheath and good construction. The handle seals well with the little survival kit. Good quality for the price. Be okay as a back-up unit for a serious woodsman, as without a full tanged hilt, there is not much strength or torque available. Recommend as basic camping piece or for your "go bag". Remember, if you get separated from your "go bag", this knife may be all of your survival gear! Be prepared.Mike

Well... it's perfect for my 5ft and 3/4" girlfriend with petite hands. I'm 5'10" and my average size hand is too big for the handle. The only thing that sucked was the fact that the blade started loosening up within an hour of unpacking it. It is bolted onto to the handle from inside, so all you need is a ratchet set and a long socket extension. If it loosens up again on me, I'll have to throw a locking washer into the equation. No big deal. Especially considering the price. It's pretty sharp, the metal seems to be half way decent and it gets the job done. Although, the "contents" are fairly worthless in comparison to other survival knives that I've seen. Otherwise, great first knife to give to your kid to poke his (or her) eye out with. ; )

I loved this and I was even more shocked that it came with a belt casing carrier! Very sturdy, looks great, and perfect for a bug out bag addition! Amazon got this to me so quick too.Excelled my expectations for sure!

the knife was broken the blade is attached to the metal handle but was loose so the blade jiggles around

I had read many reviews on amazon.com and for those that are worried about what others say about products make your own assuption. This product is exactly what is described I had thrown this knife against the tree and nothing happened to the knife. It still cuts and its still sharp. Great product. Highly recommended.

The knife sucks! Not to mention it came in a damage box. The knife is super small and its dull, worst knife ever made!

when i ordered this knife they called me the same day and told me they did not have it. instead they suggested one the only differences were 2 inches bigger (1 in on blade 1 in on handle) with a silver blade instead of black. if this knife is just like the one i got then its a good knife. its solid and has good weight to it. the handle on the one I have is metal so no worries about it breaking.
