The Carrera Evolution turned out to be more fun than I expected. The grandkids and I have greatly enjoyed it. The assembly was a bit more than I hoped but really took me about 20 minutes. The connections are very well thought and secure. The Pace Car is a disappointment, as it does not hold the track near as well as the race car. The race car holds like a dream through the curves. I hope to get another race car to replace the Pace car, for a better matched challenge. I don't hesitate to recommend the Carrera sets.

Got the item quickly ( before christmas) and I was surprised how big the set is ! 1/ 24 scale

First thing was, the power inverter wouldn't work. Barely moved, in small surges. But I used a 3-15v power source and it works really well. FAST... Like TOO fast! Which is fun.

Great race set, having great fun. The only drawback is the pace car is slow and doesn’t grip well with the rear tires.

bought for my 9 yr old grandson. needed a little help getting set up nothing to hard though Our 13 year old grandsons enjoyed it also. Was very satisfied with this racetrack and cars.

Great for your first racing set, great brand, I highly recommend to mount it on a table right away

The track came with different cars than ordered. The assembly instructions were not very detailed when it comes to how and where to install the bridge supports. Then the controllers or the transformer would only let the cars run at full speed and only if both controllers were pushed at the same time. Unusable, as the cars would fly off the track in the turns with no way to slow down. When I was a kid Carrera used to be the gold standard for race tracks like these. Quality control has turned for the worst since it is made in China. Had to send it back. Could only get a refund not an exchange. Birthday boy was very disappointed. Would not recommend.

This arrived non-working even through the packaging was not damaged. 2 of the track pieces were broken and the transformer did not work. This was a major let down when gifted on Christmas. When we went back for an exchange none could be offered. The manufacturer did replace the transformer but it took 2-3 weeks to get the problem resolved after going through everything. it should have just worked out of the box for the cost I paid. Very disappointed.
