I am 65 years old and concerned about sagging at the jaw line and lines around the nose. You can feel it tightening about half an hour after applying. It has also helped lighten a few dark spots. The tinted version did prevent burning while letting a bit of tanning happen when at the beach all day.

This product I have been using for years as my esthetician recommended to me. Is a bit pricey but I do recommend. You dont need to use a lot. Some people dont like the little smell at the beginning but it does the work...tightening of the skin.

This was fulfilled by a different seller than I normally use for Control Corrective products, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. However, this broke me out terribly right from the start and my face is very used to lactic acid. Perhaps this just isn't the product for me. I've really loved every other CC product I've tried so I'm not sure what happened here! I had high hopes for this one, but it did not work at all for me.

My deep apologies to Control Corrective. I guess this lactic-C firming cream is an anti-ageing moisturizer for the face. I will never know how effective it can be. My sensitive skin demands that I first sniff and test a skincare product on my hand or arm, rather than my face. Otherwise, the results can be catastrophic if an allergic reaction happens. Well, I cant even get past the smell -- no lie, it smells exactly like burnt matches and urine. Strong, and it doesn't go away. Not only can I not have something like that on my face where I can really smell it all the time, but I'm surprised that a face cream for sensitive skin has such a powerfully pungent and unpleasant odor. Fragrance is an issue in skincare products -- whether a consumer even likes the smell, or can tolerate the smell due to sensitivities.Fragrance is the first and worst culprit in causing sensitivity reactions to skin products. This one is an absolute pass for me for odor reasons alone. I encourage all companies to do better when it comes to scent and fragrancing. Not only from an aesthetic viewpoint, but the fact that it can be the sole reason that loses a customer. Can't believe this scent passed the quality control test. I'm off to wash my hand now.

This is a review for CONTROL CORRECTIVE Lactic-C Firming Cream.I found this cream to be very thick but also very moisturizing. I have been wearing it when I am outside all day gardening. I put sunscreen over it of course and usually my face is very dry at the end of the day. While using this cream, I notice that my face is not so dried out by evening.The cream is very thick but but it absorbs easily. It feels heavy at first but that wear off quickly. I find that it feels good once it has all been absorbed. When using it at night, my skin feels great in the morning and well hydrated.What I don’t like about this cream is the scent. It is just plain unpleasant but it does’t last long.

Very expensive BUT the product is excellent

The only reason I'm giving this outstanding product for stars is that $72 is a lot of money to pay for just 74 mL of product. You're paying about $1 per milliliter! That's incredible! But if price doesn't affect you, and you want the best, then this will not disappoint.The only thing that might disappoint you a little bit is that the smell is not that pleasant. But it's not that strong either. You only smell it when you put it right up to your nose I hope the photos are helpful not giving you an idea of the size of the container and how the cream looks like. It blends quite nicely into the skin.
