Nature Made Iron 18 mg per Serving Gummies with Vitamin C, 60 Gummies

Taking (2) of these and (2) of Nature Made Vit. C gummies in the morning on an empty stomach atleast 30 mins. Hard to get out of the container so I use wooden skewers (works perfect) The texture is very sticky. The size of regular gummy type candies. before eating anything has really helped with the side effects I experience from iron deficiency anemia. In about a week I started noticing the difference…decreased leg pain and brain fog. Decreased restless leg syndrome and dizziness. Better sleep and mood. Decreased back pain Increased energy. My ferritin (storage iron) is below 10 but my hemoglobin I’ve kept above 12(circulating iron). My extremely heavy monthly period is whats sabotaging my progress so I’m currently looking for ways to mitigate that’s issue but in the meantime though these gummies do taste like pennies or blood but taste better than most iron supplements and if you take it with the Nature Made Vit. C gummies it’s then not so bad. I literally would not be able to get out of bed without them. I started drinking a lot of water and Pedialyte to combat electrolyte loss with blood loss. Also during my period I use ibuprofen (3) 200mg gel caps every night before bed to lighten my period and shorten it so it stops at 4 or 5 days max. I don’t have blood test yet to confirm that my body is absorbing the iron but I’ve gotten really good at recognizing the signs. Liquid Floravital (gluten free kind) is also amazing but does stain teeth and the taste is not great but if you are having trouble with absorption like me… it starts working well within a week… again take it 1st thing in the morning on an empty stomach with like 1/4c of unfortified orange juice and wait 30 mins before eating or drinking anything. I have experienced Floravital bringing my hemoglobin up to 12 from 9 in couple weeks.

Yes, we know it's iron. It's going to taste like blood. That being said, I have been swallowing them whole, to avoid this all together. If that's not your thing, find something else. There is a strawberry flavor, but it quickly becomes overpowered, and starts to taste weird. It's been very nice on my stomach, as long as I have something inside of it(aka as long as I've eaten something). The vitamin c works great, and I have felt much better taking iron supplements.

You only do it because you have to, everyone knows it isn’t for the gustatory experience. TL;DR They’re gross because they’re iron gummies. They’re good quality, absorption, price for iron supplements. When I have anemic symptoms I take a dose of those on top of my regular supplements and I feel better. I haven’t done blood work but lessened symptoms is good enough for me. There’s a pleasant fruit flavor that is completely overwhelmed by the bloody taste of iron. They taste like chewing on a bloodclot with grit in it. Luckily they’re softer than you’d expect, unluckily it clings to your teeth big time. Bring a strong chaser like whiskey or a carbonated drink. They have never caused me to have an upset stomach, and almost everything does. Long story short, it ain’t a spoonful of sugar. It’s a testimony to self preservation… but all iron supplements are.

You know what it’s my fault, I should have read the reviews. This gummy makes it taste like I have blood in my mouth. It doesn’t upset my stomach but, like others stated, it’s very gummy and doesn’t break down very easily before swallowing. Pay a little more and buy MegaFood Energy.

I’ve been iron-deficient for a long time and could never take pills because they really gross me out, but these gummies have made it easier for me—they taste good.

The gels stick together as if glued and literally have to be pried out no matter how much I shake the bottle and even hit it on the table to try to loosen them up they do not fall out. I will not order it again. Nature Made usually has excellent products but not this particular one. I changed to the iron pill supplements instead.

The taste is fine. I like that it has vitamin c in it. Does not upset my stomach at all. I will probably buy more of this product. My doctor told me that my blood count was dangerously low. I would get light-headed and sometimes dizzy when I stood up. I bought another brand of chewable iron supplements that has b vitamins in it. I took the recommended amount of chewables and I noticed right away that I had a little more energy and I wasn't getting light-headed anymore. I took another dose 6 hours later. No problems at all with that.

They’re very sticky, and they taste like berries in blood 🤢. The second time I had one, I nibbled off small pieces and swallowed each one like a pill, that worked better as far as avoiding the gross taste goes. I do feel more energy and less brain foggy after taking one per day (2 = 100% of the RDA), maybe it’s working? Or else I’m highly susceptible to the placebo effect. Anyway, 3 stars because it tastes kinda gross and the stickiness is annoying because it gets on my fingers, but it does seem to be doing its job.

Easy to swallow, taste is good, seems to be working as well as tablets.

It has a bad taste and the product is not worth it. do not buy
