Just like my old one! Works very well.
This peeler is SHARP! and easy to use. This peeler is very similar to an old one I've been using for over 25 years. I hope this one lasts a long while also.Nothing fancy with this item -- exactly as I want. Price is right, too.It removes peel from gnarly carrots like a breeze.Watch your knuckles and fingers, though! Stressing how sharp it is!No complaints from me.

IT WORKS
The media could not be loaded. I grew up with this type of peeler. It keeps your hand close to the object being peeled, and for me, a ton more control than these new chic boutique offset peelers. I don’t understand complaints of breakage; peeling is not a brute force undertaking. And, should it break, next time I’ll buy the two pack!

Very sharp, needs to be "worn in"
When I first started using this, it kept cutting through the peel before the swivel would move enough to follow the contour of the produce I was peeling, now however after I have been using it for a few months, it seems to be doing better. I guess the swivel feature just needed to be worn in to make it flex more.

Perfect, just like the one I grew up with!
I had one of these peelers for years, one day looking for it, It was gone! I had a new version, you can buy in any store, but it was dull, to big to handle, didn't peel good, I ended up with a perry knife! Haven't been able to find one so went to Amazon, my go to store!! Just what I wanted, perfect, it came in 48hr's, and now I'm a Happy carrot peeler! My time is precious, driving all over town to find this peeler and the gas money gave me chills; Amazon saved the day once again!

Cheaply made and not sharp enough to slice cleanly
DO NOT BUY THESE! I tried all 3 of them with the same results. They scrape rather than cleanly slice the top layer of vegetables - like carrots. Additionally, you have to apply more pressure or they simply slide over the outside layer. All 3 ended up in the garbage.

Easy to use. Reminds me of the Potatoe peeler my Mother had.
Works well, got it for my hubby because he doesn't like to use a knife.

Umm watch out very sharp I cut my finger badly while getting the eyes off the potatoes, OUCH!

plain simple vegetable peeler
This is a veg peeler so useful for peeling vegs and fruit. Perhaps cheese in a pinch. It's to go in the Christmas stocking. Hope it's satisfactory but don't know why it wouldn't be.
