Love the Transcend!
I just bought my 6th pair of Brooks Transcend. They have been wonderful for me from Day 1. I was a 36 year runner and now am a walker. These shoes fill the bill for both needs. I am a 5’2” trim older woman. The Transcend provides just the right amount of stability, support, flexibility and cushioning. I beg Brooks to always keep manufacturing these. They are expensive but worth it!

Knee Pain Gone
As advertised by Brooks these shoes have helped with my knee pain while running. I don't know if it is the GuideRails system or that I am focusing more on where my foot is striking while running. But since I have had these shoes my knee pain while running has been gone. I have done 5 runs in them so far and each run has finished without my typical knee pain. The fit is good for me I normally get between a 11.5 and 12 mens, for these I got the 12 and it is a good fit.If you are a casual runner with knee pain give these a try and see if it helps you as it did for me. I will be getting another pair when these wear out.

Absolutely hideous color, but it works well
This color was the only size left in my size and I hate it. I hate most of the other colors, too. I don't understand why we can't have running shoes that aren't so disgusting looking. But as far as the functionality goes, they're fantastic. I'm new to jogging and was having a lot of trouble finding my stride. Where to strike the ground with my foot, how not to bounce up and down too much, etc. And these shoes do what they claim: they help guide your feet a bit to make figuring that stuff out easier. There's no break-in period, either. They're just as comfortable the first time as the 30th time. I'm not sure how long they'll last, but if it's a problem I'll come back to update this review.

Super cushioned but heavy
I'm relatively new to running and this was my first pair of expensive shoes and also trying Brooks. I found the cushioning was amazing, like I didn't realize shoes could actually feel that good where the road doesn't feel as hard. But what comes along with that is that they feel heavy to me and the soles are wide. I literally felt like I was wearing clown shoes on my first couple runs. Took some getting used to but the cushioning, support and overall feel is so amazing that I stuck with them and they are now worked into my regular running schedule. I just don't like running on them every day when I can get away with a lighter pair for a longer run or on a trail where the hard ground isn't as big a deal. So these are essentially my road running shoes. I find they also heat up my feet on a longer run, especially if I'm on concrete a lot. It's not terrible but definitely noticeable. I will definitely give Brooks another try on my next pair but probably try a different style to see if I can get something not so heavy.

Exceptional Shoe for Pronators!
This is an exceptionally well made show for mild to medium pronaters. It has a guard rail system and extra cushioning in all the right places. It has a snug yet full width and amazingly light weight. Although expensive, it is one of those shoes where you get what you pay for! Love this shoe!

Best Marathon Trainer for Road Running Plus
I've been running marathons since the 80s and typically run more than 1000 miles per year. I have run in most of the major brands (Ascis, Mizuno, Nike, Addidas, Saucony and New Balance). Having the shoes that are right for you is key to injury prevention and enjoyment. Brooks is the brand that I prefer and the Transcend series has been the go to shoes in my rotation (usually it is a good idea to mix it up and have a couple different pairs of running shoes). I highly recommend the Transcend. I buy them when they are changing to a new model as they are usually have a reduced price for a quality shoe. Taking care of my feet and preventing injury is a must if you want to enjoy a lifetime of running. Enjoy!Note: I am a pronator and use orthotics. These fit them well.

Great Shoe!
Love these shoes for my runs! The 7’s are slightly different than previous models but they still work for me. Put them on new and run with no problems. I am a size 7 but wear a 7.5 in this shoe. They are expensive but worth it.

SUPPORT/CUSHION
The Transcend 6 is what I was looking for. The heel-counter/controlling stability, and arch support, with also great cushioning is difficult to find in one shoe. There is normally a compromise. This shoe has it all. I would like to order another pair but why do all three color choices have to have a white outer sole? how about black?

Worse Brooks I've ever had
Worse Brooks trainers I've ever had and been a fan for 7 years really disappointed causing pain when running to right foot and the guiderail system which I've had in brooks before feels like it's pressing against your foot and whole shoe feels wrong and lumpy.

Hard
Thought this was going to be a stability glycerin…no… I don’t know where people are getting this soft feeling from who’ve reviewed this shoe. This shoe is hard and dead feeling underfoot… just lifeless and a chore to run in. If you want soft stability go for Hoka Gaviota, if you want responsive but well cushioned go for Skechers gorun forza 3. Either one of these shoes are miles better than the Transcend 6.Edit: Ok so after relegating these shoes to a walking shoe when I go with the missus ( which they are brilliant at as the firm supportiveness is what I like when walking), I must’ve logged at least 200 miles of walking in them, and recently developed Achilles tendinitis, I thought I’d give them another try as I require a stable supportive high drop shoe to take some strain away from my Achilles and don’t really have any 10mm drop shoes other than these. In that 200 or so miles they’ve softened up a hell of a lot and so much easier to run in. I can now wholeheartedly agree with the positive reviews and say they’re incredibly comfortable and it’s changed my perspective of them completely. Only trouble is that after 200+ miles of walking the outsole has worn down a fair bit and I might only have another 200 or so miles of running in them. But over the next few weeks these will be my daily trainer to get past this injury.

Not terrible, but nowhere near the Adrenaline series
Not a bad show overall, the support is good. However I find the sole is not as cushioned as I expected, and they start to rub and cause blisters at the front of my instep after only a few miles, and I have quite narrow feet. These were supposed to be my distance trainers but I’ve found myself sticking with the Adrenaline 19s most days now, they are great.

Comfy and supportive
Bought these as I have an ongoing achilles issue and were recommended. They are very cushioned and comfy and are giving me much better support than regular trainers would. Not a cheap brand to buy but if you have any foot/alignment issues they are the best and worth it.

Uncomfortable trainers
I am Brooks fan.It didn't fit me. I gave it fair, 3 times 4miles runs before sending it back.Back to Adrenaline 19 and Ghost 12.
