Very Simple and Helpful!
While there are other ways to incorporate a switch into the lighting system, this Just Plug in-line switch makes much more sense and fits right in with all the other modular Just Plug components. No more plugging in/unplugging the main plug to turn featured lights on and off. I'm up to 20 lights with 2 expansion modules right now and counting. Adding 2 goose neck lamps to my N Scale Drive In Movie screen that will dim when the Wolf Man movie begins. Great product line that's even easy for a non-electrical mind to figure out.

Auxiliary, it’s the must switch, get one!
The auxiliary switch is simple to apply to your plug n play lighting system. You may need multiple switches. Add the switch to your list along with the light hubs, extension cords. Plug them in, turn them on…. I’m glad I did. I love the LED lights for every situation on my train layout. They add so much realism at night.

1:64 scale diorama build
Worked perfect for my little 1:64 scale town I built, only thing that didn’t work like I thought it should was the power switch I tried to plug it into the expansion hub and it didn’t work but works when it’s plugged in the light hub. Not sure why but my guess is something is off on the expansion hub not letting the switch work.

OK, all Just Plug lighting can be toggled on/off ...
OK, all Just Plug lighting can be toggled on/off using a $3 switch from any Big Box Store, BUT the beauty of Woodland Scenics (WS) toggle switch is having the ability to isolate various lighting. For example, I use the WS toggle “mapped” to lighting ports/hubs that control WS Street Lights and vehicles. So, a single toggle is “flipped” for “after dark” on my Model Train Layout. (Yes, the cheap switch from Home Depot powers all lighting.)
