I got these shelves today, the delivery was fast. I like they're made from real wood and the metal work is decent. The reason for the three stars if for the hardware they sent with it. It's cheap hardware that stripped within the first turn of tension. So I had to use pliers to finish screwing it in. I would suggest using better quality screws to mount it otherwise you'll be just as frustrated as I was today.***Update***I changed the 3 star rating to a 5 star due to their swift contact about the issue and the actions taken to alleviate or rectify it. Their customer service is very professional and prompt. Product is definitely worth the money and is solid, nothing against the company as they outsource hardware but I would still suggest getting back up screws or possibly drilling pilot holes first.

These shelves are awesome. They're solid, lightweight, super easy to install, and they look great. I love that each shelf and the rod are individual pieces so that I can use them however I want to. We put one of the shelves in our bathroom and used the other one and the rod for our coffee station. We found hooks for the rod at Home Depot.Be careful when cleaning the metal to make sure you don't take off any of the finish. Overall these are great, especially for the price, and I definitely recommend them.

I’m so upset my shelves were not level, but I hung them anyway because I’m too anxious to return them and wait for others that will probably have issues too. The hanging bar was pretty bad. I had to hammer it straight and mount it crooked, but you can’t tell when hung. The bottom shelf, however, is leaning downward and I feel like it’s pretty obvious. I have toilet paper on it, so it doesn’t lean forward any more than it already is and to make it less noticeable. In my photos, look at the bottom shelf compared to the top. I’d like to give this a 3 but since I’m keeping it and it’s cute, I’ll settle for a 4 star rating.

This was very easy to install - on drywall. They provide all the parts you need - 5 screws for the towel bar, 5 screws for the shelves, 3 drywall anchors and 3 mason anchors. In every case, there is 1 extra piece in case you lose one. You only need 2 wall anchors, but they provided 2 different types to match your installation.Pics are attached, and overall I'm 99% satisfied with the unit.. except for 2 BUT conditions, as you'll see in pics. 1) The towel bar length is not identical to the rail bars, so they aren't perfectly aligned if you install the towel-bar. I admit this is an OCD thing on my part, but really? It just seems sloppy on an otherwise good looking, well manufactured product. And 2) Because there are no pre-drilled holes for the optional towel-bar, even with light pressure (as recommended) they caused small cracks in the wood. I would suggest you pre-drill some holes to hopefully avoid that.Otherwise? I think these are very nice looking shelves and well manufactured.Suggestion if you're installing on drywall. Since there are only 2 anchors+screws to support the shelf, I added some 3M VHB tape to the mount-plate to reinforce and distribute the overall weight support and mount point. I believe the documentation stated a max of 25lbs shelf weight, but on drywall? I would keep it to 10lbs or less.

Wanted a shelf to replace the towel rack in the bathroom and stumbled upon this one. Nice delivery time, received in 2days. But one shelf had a crack and the bracket fell off. Sent an email of the situation and got a response in just 10minutes saying to keep the broken one and that they will send a new one. Also they updated me on the delivery ETA of the replacement which was super nice. The shelves themselves were simple but elegant, just what I was looking for. Easy to install but like they mentioned it will hold up to only 20lbs per shelf so just keep that in mind if you are looking for a very sturdy shelf. Overall super satisfied with the product and their awesome customer service.

Very, very happy with this purchase. I was looking for some nice shelves to go in my newly renovated bathroom, I wanted something that was not the run of the mill stuff that you see in every big box store. These are well crafted and reasonably priced. They come well packaged and easy to install and they look really awesome, i could not have been happier with my purchase. They have that hand made feel to them which is why I like them so much because they feel more unique.

We bought these to spruce up our outdated master bathroom. They really add a nice touch to the walls as well as useful storage space for miscellaneous cologne, lotions, etc. We plan on buying some candles and decorative fake plants to dress them up a little more. They were easy to put together and install on the walls, with my wife providing an extra set of hands. These shelves look great and you can't beat the price. We loved the fact you can add the optional bar underneath for hanging a hand towel or whatever else. These will look even better in the bathroom after we replace the mirrors, sinks and countertops during the up coming remodel. We ordered two packs of these (4 shelves total) and are 100% satisfied.

The wood and finish looks nice, though while installing a wine glass rack under one of the shelves, I realized the wood is very soft, and might even be particle board with a faked grain. No worries though. It serves my purpose nicely. See photo.I strongly recommend buying better drywall anchors though, or making sure the screws make it into studs. The anchors included are kinda junk. I threw those out and used good ones, and only because the position of the studs did not match where I wanted the shelves positioned.

Very cheap product, worth £5, no more, this is a plywood, it has been forgotten to paint one side, the metal ring crooked. I am truly disappointed, you can buy more solid produts in B&Q or anywhere. I was expecting something better in this price

The product was very substandard poor quality. one shelf was badly stained, and the optional towel rack could not be used as was not long enough to fix as the instructions indicated. I only used one that was not damaged, but did not return as having tried to return goods in the past found it was not worth the hassle.

I used two of these shelves for my hallway above my radiator. We have a small space just next to the front door and these fit perfect . I like how you still see the wood effect through the paint. We didn’t use the additional towel rail but we will be ordering another couple to use in our bathroom which we will then use the additional towel rail. Overall I am very happy with these shelves.

Really really disappointed with these shelves. I wish I could have given minus 5 as a rating. There's a big chip out of the rail, dents and marks on the shelves. We are desperate to finish decorating our kitchen and can't afford the time to send them back and hope to get decent ones next time. It's as though people don't care about the quality of their products any more and will send out any old rubbish. It wasn't as though these were cheap at over £60 for what they were. I will never go near Peter's Goods again. Shame on you!PS The shelves were even worse than I thought. We found more scratches, dents and chips. There's no way we can put them on our wall so they have to be returned. As we are both disabled, it is not going to be easy but we can't afford to be over £60 out of pocket.

This is a poor quality product and would not recommend. Not only is the white wood shelf not painted properly, the pre-drilled holes for the wall fixings are 5mm out between each side, which resulted in a great ordeal trying to fit them. By the time I realised what had happened and why the shelf was not level, it was too late as I had already drilled the holes on my ‘dot n dab’ plasterboard wall. I tried drilling new holes on the bracket itself but this only ruined the bracket. I ended up throwing these in the bin. An unpleasant and time wasting experience. Now I have some holes to make good on my wall.
