I honestly didn’t expect much from these….
Honestly I didn’t expect much from these. The ones they give at urgent care are ATROCIOUS. These are not only far more supportive but also quite comfortable. I tore the tendon in my pinky and it has kept it flat and incapable of moving. I use the plastic one when I shower. Both are great!

Give what you paid for can’t really complain
I bought this product for my mother who had got a hammer finger. I think it’s called really came in handy, but the Velcro gets caught on the blanket and you could hurt yourself if not careful but other than that get what you paid for

They are helping my finger heal.
These are working very well. The plastic ones are much more ergonomic than the one my orthopedic surgeon gave me at the office. Comparing both size #4, these are slimmer and the plastic has a smooth finish so they don't scratch your finger at the second joint when flexing the finger. People are complaining about the velcro, I took the velcro off, it comes off very easily (including the little adhesive part that attaches to the plastic) and I'm using surgical tape to keep the splint on the finger as the doctor showed me. You have to split the surgical tape in half and use the two thin halves of the tape you split to secure where your nail is (By the way, when inserting the splint, the doctor lifted my finger by the fingernail using his fingernail to prevent my finger from bending, since I have mallet finger, I thought that was ingenious!) and the other half of the tape toward the second finger joint but keeping the joint free. According to the doctor you want to have that joint free to be able to flex. This is working wonderfully and the splint stays as long as I want. The aluminum one, I'm using whenever I have to take the plastic one off to wash. It's good but a bit bulkier. I also wouldn't sleep with the aluminum one on because it can just slip off your finger. The plastic one with surgical tape is much more secure and won't scratch your furniture if you forget you are wearing it, which does happen since they are very comfortable... I would wear the aluminum one when having to go to the doctor for an x-ray, for example, since it's much easier to take it off than taking the tapes off and putting them back on the plastic ones. The aluminum ones are almost perfect for short term use. I wish they were more ergonomic like the plastic ones though. If they could shave off one of the sides to accommodate the bending of the finger at the second joint they would be amazing (highlighted picture).

Sharp edges & for small hands only
The beige plastic splints run small and the sharp edges cut into the skin on the top and near the nail, which is nasty on a tender injured finger. They also have a slight backwards curve, so not good for protecting a broken or sprained finger so it will heal straight. It does appear they would be good for protecting a cut on a thin lady's or men's pinky finger if was first wrapped with several layers of gauze to pad and protect it from the plastic splint itself. The metal splints are fairly standard, and good replacements for similar ones where the lightweight foam is getting too compressed or worn. They are also good to have on hand in a First Aid box, since sprained and cut fingers are common injuries and need immediate protection from mindless 'normal' activities to minimize pain or further injury.

Quality set with different sizes
OK, you bashed a finger, or maybe a thumb. You need some sort of protection to prevent banging it even more as it heals. Well, which finger did you smash? This set gives you alternatives, from plastic splints for your pinkie, to larger metal splints to fin your thumb. Just slip on a splint of the right size, and sleep like a baby. Slip it off easily when needed. This Sopito set should be part of your first aid kit, and the price is reasonable.

Finally I have something that fits my little finger
I previously bought just the 3 metal splints from this dealer. I am having problems with curving fingers either from age or frustration with politics. This order for very little more, came with 3 additional plastic splints. I thought those might be useful on trips. My fingers aren't straightening but they aren't getting any worse. This product works better than the cloth splints. And there is one for my little finger

Try something else
Would not recommend this product at all. For mallet finger, the bottom plastic pieces are too short to actually immobilize the DIP joint. The metal and foam splints have hard foam inside. They are also bulkier than others I’ve tried.

Bin begeistert!

These finger supports are actually really good , my little boy managed to bruise his thumb nail so any tap or bang around the thumb brought him to tears , I brought these without holding much hope that they would work , I popped one on him and victory for mum ! They worked and not one single outburst of crying today , he can play his Xbox again 🤣 and apparently I am now the best mum in the universe so for this I give this product 5star review it saved us years and tantrums
