GPIO Screw Terminal Hat for Raspberry Pi

It is not often that a product delivers more than expected, this did. The PCB is of a high quality and the terminal strips have been very carefully labelled. A spare set of labels supplied should the originals get damaged in use. The mounting pillars are metal and a spare nut and bolt provided. These is also a credit card sized crib sheet. The provided screwdriver is a good fit and the ideal size for this application. This seems to be a product that could be trusted not to be a cause of problems. Perhaps slightly expensive but these materials are not cheap so fair enough. Anyone that wants to experiment with RPi without using a solder less breadboard should find this ideal. Clear 'Power On' warning LED. The expansion buss is extended facilitating use of another hat on top subject to obvious physical limitations.

This really helped me diagnose a hardware issue when using two Hats together. Allowed for quick and easy pin use identification. Highly recommended to have in the toolbox. Saved me hours.

It is ok in that it works fine. However, it does not really leave room for a fan.

Excellent product - the board fits easily onto the Raspberry Pi, although you have to remove twi strips that cover the GPIO pins on the Pi. The board then fits securely over the pins on the Pi. The layout of the board is clear and the use of the leds to show the status of the pins is innovative and useful.

Excellent Product. If you need a visual confirmation that your devices or lines are receiving power or osignals then this addon board delivers. Maybe like me you like LEDs 😎. It will save you valuable time in ensuring that your code is sending signals to the intended GPIO pins. When used with a breadboard it is a powerful visual diagnostic tool. I have added spacers between board and M2.5 pillars as I have mounted the terminal breakout on top of my Geekworm case (protecting my RasPi 4 😎👍). Important : If you do choose to mount the Terminal Breakout on a case make sure it's a case that accommodates this.. i.e. a low profile case like Geekworm that allows M2.5 pillars to be added.

Pin labels are quite small, the order is confusing at first but other than these minor problems this board is great, no more loose or lost connections, led indicators on all significant pins. I bought more for other projects. You can wire these up as a hardware section of your project but have you pi ready for something else in seconds by lifting this off, then back to the project pre-wired and ready to go seconds later.

Very useful HAT with screw terminals and LEDs for every PIN.

Does what it says it does. Super useful for certain types of projects.

Exactement conforme à sa description et rentre a merveille sur un raspberry 2, du coup ça doit passer sur tous les autres. Vachement pratique pour mes projets en constante évolution, j'ai tendance a lancer plusieurs projets en même temps a différents stades de finalisation Du coup j'arrive a mixer des connecteurs dupont et des fils. En revanche si vous faites comme moi il faut planifier un peu le cablage et commencer par le bas, sinon les duponts bloquent la visserie des connecteurs Les leds sont bien pratiques aussi pour vérifier visuellement l'état des sorties Livraison impeccable à un tarif que je trouve correct

I use this for a din mounted pi, and it has worked great to secure gpuo connections to DIN rail components! The active Led I dicators are a huge help in troubleshooting systems under development.
