Couldn't find this smaller size finger pull for an old house. The original plastic pulls where cracked and one missing where the glue in the finger pull would poke or scratch when you used it. I thought I'd try this, even though the size measured inside my pull wasn't the same as this description since I could return it if needed. I thought the price was a bit high for the item but since it's a thin metal and my next step would have been to buy a hole saw drill bit to fit a larger finger pull - this was worth trying. To my surprise it fit perfectly in the hole, no sanding needed and just snug enough where no glue was needed. Just needed a little tap with a rubber mallet. I only needed 2 and will keep the other two to replace as needed.

I have several sliding doors with finger pulls in my house which was built in 1971. The original finger pulls were plastic and had yellowed. We have been repainting and wanted to freshen up the pulls. It is important that you measure the width of your opening or the back of your original finger pulls. We made the mistake of measuring the outside of the finger pull and the part we got from the local hardware store did not fit once we pried out the old parts. Once we pried out the old plastic pulls, we were able to then correctly measure. Ours had a diameter of 1.5 inches. Finding replacements have been difficult as local hardware stores do not carry this size. A search for 1.5 diamater finger pulls online led us to here and viola, the parts arrived today and are a perfect fit! We ordered the dark silver since we did not want a shiny finish. Very happy with them. Will order more for the rest of the doors in the house.

We needed to update our plastic, yellowed door pulls. These looked modern and were easy to install. We had to "tap" them in gently with a rubber mallet as they do fit snugly. This size was hard to find in hardware stores. Very satisfied.

redecorating a bedroom and the old sliding closet doors were original finished wood (pine, not pretty oak). decided to paint them and update the brass pulls to silver - nice finishing touch. Easy to install. Thought ahead and used some of the old carpet pad when hammering them into place, which saved the fresh paint job and likely the hardware. Didn't rate durability because haven't had them long enough to say.

I picked up these door pulls to replace missing pulls. They were just a little smaller than my door pull cutout so I had to glue them in place. Overall I'm satisfied with the product.

These came in beautiful packaging, and were all-around excellent quality! Exactly what I had been searching for!! I have a 1950's home and finding these/ this size is tough!. My sliding door openings were a 1 7/8 and these fit perfectly!
