Great quality and product
This manufacturer should get a gold star . This small level has multi uses also has a tape measure and a laser leveling line. The manufacturer also gives you spare batteries and a metal ruler. Need more companies like this where they anticipate all situations

Bought for tabletop gaming, exceeded expectations.
I needed a laser that makes straight lines for table top gaming. So not for what this is traditionally used for. There are bespoke laser pointers that do just that and made for the hobby but those cost just as much as much if not more than this because of the hobby tax. For this purpose this device works admirably but worse than the bespoke pointers because its much bulkier. For a hobby laser this gets three stars but I give it 5 because its multi purpose. In addition to the laser it has a 6" ruler and a tape measure which is extremely useful in the hobby. Also I can't tell you how many random times I needed a straight edge and this bailed me out from having to run downstairs as I keep this on my desk. But it is also has uses outside of tabletop gaming. I got some vinyl album wall mounts as I wanted to display a 4x3 grid of records on my wall. The laser made lining up the records an absolute breeze and nothing was crooked. Dare I say I think this may be its intended use.

Compact but versatile
At only 7.5 inches long, this is small for a level, but it has more features than meet the eye. It has bubble level indicators for horizontal, vertical, and 45° angle surfaces. The edge with a ruler on each side is the one you position on the surface you're checking with the bubbles. On one side, the ruler is in centimeters, on the other it's in inches. The three types of laser images it can produce are a horizontal line, a vertical line, and both together, making a "+" on the target surface. To switch between them, you simply move the lens up or down. (As is often the case with foreign-made products, the written English names for the three positions, on the sticker next to the lens, are ...amusingly weird... but they are also illustrated in red.) You are warned to be careful with the breakable glass lens itself, and never to look directly into the laser light. The lines it projects are bright enough to see clearly in daylight at least 10 feet away. The lens can also be adjusted as to angle if needed, as indicated on the box. At the other end is a built-in measuring tape that goes up to 8 feet. It stays out when you let go, too, which is nice. But another warning in the instruction sheet points out it has a powerful rewinding spring, so when you press that release button on the top, be careful the edges of the tape don't cut you as it whizzes back inside. The box includes the level, an especially useful little separate 6"/15cm stainless steel ruler (which I finally got out of the vinyl sleeve by blowing into the open end to unstick it), three spare batteries, and a little phillips head screwdriver for the battery cover. The instruction sheet starts by having you open the battery compartment to put in batteries, but I found that mine already had batteries in it, in addition to the three spares in the box. There was a "pull" tab sticking out of the compartment, but I'm glad I didn't just pull it before first removing the screw completely, because the cover was quite tightly in there, and pulling that tab was what freed it. If the screw had still been in when I pulled that tab, the cover might have broken off from the tiny bit with the little hole. Everything else about the Levelpro3 seems durable enough to survive frequent, albeit careful, use. I wouldn't leave it lying around a construction site, but for workshop/studio/home use it's dandy. I am going to find a carrying case for mine, partly to protect it from falls, and partly so I don't lose the spare batteries and the screwdriver. The nifty little extra ruler is probably going to live in my pocket!
