The silicone is smooth
Many mallets have a seam, but this one is completely smooth silicone, so there is very little chatter when using it on crystal bowls. At first, I thought it was going to be too small, but it is the perfect size for my bowls.

Not good sound
Buy other brand‘s product. Sounds not good on my bowl.

Not as smooth in sound & touch as needed
The silicone isn't as smooth as I'd hoped and gives a scraping sound on the bowl. It does offer a higher vibration sound, yet I had hoped it would be smooth.

Clear silicone too hard.
The silicone on the *clear silicone mallet* is too hard which makes me have to work harder to get tone to swell which create unstable bowls and abrupt endings to the sound. Do not recommend.

Wow, very impressed with this
I always had a little trouble with the leather mallets when trying to get a metal bowl to sing. these are amazing but you need to be gentle with crystal bowls. I could see were a bowl may shatter if you weren’t careful. I love this!
