Brings me back.
I remember fishing with cane poles a lot as a kid. So I ordered this nice little rig for my son. Who loves the great outdoors. First time out and he got into some crappies. Great quality pole!

This thing is amazing. I'd forgotten how easy it is to fish without worrying about a reel. I can easily get 20 feet from the dock. more than enough for panfishing. setting the hook requires a flick of the wrist and I lost very few fish once the bobber started moving.

Well built and finished
I purchased to use as a tenkara type for fixed line casting with a stiffer tip and after the first trial it seems to fit that need. I am pleased with how the section fit. It is heavier than a comparable size tenkara rod but that is to be expected.A very good buy

Overpriced and fragile.
The package arrived in completely destroyed condition. Not the sellers fault but after more shopping around I did find that they vastly overcharged for the product plus you pay shipping. Upon opening the package I discovered that the rod was opened and the tip was snapped off. Looking it over, I have come to the conclusion this rod is cheap junk. Poor seller, even worse product.
