Just in case you wonder, the inside diameter (ID) is 0.75 inches (3/4 inch), the outside diameter (OD) is about1.04 inches and the total length (end-to-end) is 8 inches. The treaded part (male pipe thread “MPT”) of each end of the pipe is 3/4 inch long, the smooth section of the pipe is 6 1/2 inches (8 minus 1.5). It has “schedule 80” thickness, which means it has greater rigidity and pressure rating. It’s thicker than Schedule 40 pipe. Use plumber’s white teflon tape (PTFE) when assembling for best results, no leaks. I bought three, twelve inch pipes plus a pack of the connectors to make this happen. I probably could have gone to the orange box store and got a single piece and one connector but this was fairly easy and I believe a better price or similar. The only difference is that I spliced three instead of getting one piece and technically there is a greater chance of a leak I suppose. With some teflon tape there is no leaks and it worked for my application. I am using this same review for the connectors as well and I can't remember which set came with teflon tape. Plastic appears of high quality.
