About this item Instant hot chocolate drink mix with sugar and sweetener. Deliciously smooth and chocolatey Low fat Suitable for vegetarians ›See more product details
I bought this hot-chocolate because it is described as being a healthy option with less sugar. If this has less sugar, I dread to think what the full sugar version tastes like. This hot chocolate does not mix very well. I added a bit of cold water first to mix it to a paste and it still had loads of big lumps in it after adding the hot water. This is sickly sweet. You know that horribly sweet (almost gagging) feeling that attacks you right the back of the throat? I felt nauseous for hours afterwards yet I'd only drank a mouthful. It is extremely unpleasant and I can't even give it away.

Forms gelatinous globs
I wrote to morrisons about this matter and received a less than satisfactory reply. I followed the instructions to the letter. But when drinking had these large globular which turns you off the drink. I have also tried making in a purpose manufactured hot chocolate machine. 72 deg C with automatic stirred, and have also used a small battery operated cocktail whisk all to no avail. It could be a batch problem but morrisons seemed uninterested

Awful
I've tried mixing it with hot and cold water but it still remains lumpy, then there's the sickly over sweet taste - I found it absolutely horrible and wouldn't buy it again.

Creamy and delicious
Lovely and creamy hot chocolate drink and not over sweet like some other drinks I've tried will definitely buy again

Not great
Usual make wasn’t available so picked this. Doesn’t mix well and doesn’t taste good. Leaves sediment at bottom of mug.

Review of Morrisons Eat Smart Counted Instant Hot Chocolate
We both enjoy Morrisons Eat Smart Counted Instant Hot Chocolate. It's best prepared by modifying the amount of chocolate powder you add to a mug and then mixing it into a smooth paste with milk. Finally, adding hot water just off the boil makes a delicious hot chocolate drink- certainly not sweet.Highly recommended.I've tried to buy more sachets in store for the last 3 weeks but unfortunately, they are unavailable.

Morrison's Eat Smart Hot Chocolate Powder
Good grief this is the most disgusting hot chocolate mix I've ever had. Absolutely vile, cloying and way too sweet. I was hoping for an alternative to Options but this isn't it! I drank around half of it but it just had no flavour apart from sweetener, might as well be drinking hot water + Candarel.

Low Sugar but Lumps
I have rated this item 3 stars as while the item tastes nice and has low sugar it seems to lump at the bottom of the cup, i'm not sure if this is an ingridients issue or normal. A way around this however is to first put a little milk in the cup then add the powder, mix and then add the boiling water, this usually 'reduces' the lumping however it is still present, the milk also makes the hot chocolate more frothy and pleasant to drink then just water alone, adding marshmellows can also add to the aesthetics of the cup of hot chocolate, this is something I do.Since this is the only low sugar hot chocolate I can find at the moment I guess we just have to deal with the lumping.Edit: A better way that is working for me is to put the hot water in the mug first, then add a little milk, then add the 2 tbsp of this powder, mix and then it shouldn't lump at the bottom, this seems to work for me.
