Beautiful Notebook
I'm a published author who loves to write. I've been searching for the perfect purple notebook to write my poetry, and other writings in. I came across these. I'm in love with these notebooks!I love these notebooks because they lay flat on me. The paper is the right quality of thickness. I wish the notebook had more pages, because I love thick notebooks. Other than that I definitely recommend getting this notebook.

LOVE These Journals!
I can't express how much I love these journals.I was skeptical abt buying a lined one. I prefer grids because I can't stand wide lines, and even when a product says the lines are college ruled, they're often too wide for me. I tend to write bigger the bigger the lines, and that often looks sloppy. But for ten bucks, I figured what the heck. Honestly, it was the color selection that initially drew me in. So I ordered the lavender one and wow!The cover is soft, there's slight bend in the journal itself so it's not super rigid, the paper is thick but not so thick the book become cumbersome, the color is gorgeous, and the lines are perfection!I was so excited about this book that I immediately bought the other five colors and then went back and bought a second lavender one. lol These are my new favorite journals, and one day I'll try YRL's other books. There is one slight smidge on their perfection though.Because they're shrink wrapped (which is essential so they arrive in great condition), the cord that wraps around the book leaves an impression. It's doesn't deter from writing in the book or its beauty. It's more of a "me quirk". And a couple of the books have this bump on the cover, near the indentation. It's slightly annoying, but it won't make me not buy these again. My only wish is that there were more colors. I NEED some greens, YRL. More blues and pinks too, please. :)

Love these books!!
It may seem silly to like these books as much as I already do, but they're perfect! I've been using spiral bound books with light dots making a grid instead of actual lines. A) I don't need a grid for writing, B) I can hardly see the dots, C) I hate the spiral bind because when I get to the edge of the paper, everything looks like a 2 year-old got a hold of my pen. These lay flat as I write, so I can use the full page (both sides!) and they're lined, so I can keep my writing from trailing off in whatever direction. The covers are sturdy enough to be able to write without a flat surface, but flexible enough that I don't worry about the board breaking or otherwise getting damaged.I also love that they come in a variety of colors - I have a couple for work purposes, and I'm definitely going to get at least one for personal stuff. I couldn't be happier with the product!!

Nice leather-covered notebook with a closure band
I was looking for a sturdy notebook for my everyday usage, and this book caught my eyes for its selection of colors and features. The closure band is really a nice touch for a leather-covered notebooks. In addition to keep the book secure and close, it can also be used to hold a pen.The leather cover of this notebook is very supple and soft to touch. The paper it used is thick and has a nice creamy color. The weight of this book is great for me too, not light and not too heavy either.Overall, it is a great notebook for its features at a great price.

Nice Little Journal
I was looking for a journal to make daily notes. When I looked at all the sturdier much thicker journals, they all had reviews that spoke about the pages falling out. My other consideration was I wanted a deep purple journal and most of the others were more lilac in color. I thought I'd give this journal a try and use it for specific meditations as opposed to my daily thoughts. This isn't a very sturdy journal, but I only use it for one meditation topic so I'm not opening it up a lot. The cover is pleather, very pliable material. You can see how the pages are laid into the cover - several sets of three sheets (6 pages) of paper. I've shown how these pages are bound by showing the seams in the open journal photo. The back has a pocket I've stuck a Merkaba in so you can see there is plenty of space to store extra items. The good part of only having 3 sheets per bind is the journal opens well and is easy to write in. The overall binding seems well seated. There are 4 sheets (8 pages) at the end of the journal with no lines and perforations that allow you to easily separate the page from the journal if there is some artwork you want to scan. The very first lined page is glued to the hard gray inside liner which makes it very awkward to write on, but the rest of them lay flat well. My book had 139 lines pages and 16 plain perforated pages available for a total of 155 pages (counting the front of a page as one and the back of a page as one). The only way they can accurately claim to have 160 pages is if you write on the hard gray cover lining; one which is glued to the cover and one hard gray sheet which anchors the other sheets in the journal. While the picture of the cover I uploaded makes it look more blue than purple, the actual journal is a true plum/royal purple color; one of the few I was able to find in Amazon's journal selections.Should you buy it? It's a nice little journal, but there is not a lot of writing room if you are prolific. If you like to keep your journals separated by month, this might be the perfect journal for you. You can choose from 7 different colors and each lined page has a place to enter a date. The pocket will allow you to keep notes, tickets, doctor appointment cards, etc. near your notes and the bookmark matches the color of the cover. If you're willing to spend $8 for a small journal, then this may be what you're looking for.

It's quite lovely
I tend to go through notebooks and journals like nobody's business. This journal in particular has smooth, thick (but not too thick) pages and ink dries quickly without bleeding through. The cover texture is bendable but sturdy and the placement/pen holder is a feature I have been needing for a while. The pocket in the back of the book can be very helpful if you are like me and keep mementos or use it while traveling. For the price, you can't find a better journal whether it's for business or pleasure.
