NORCO 4U Rack Mount 16 x Hot-Swappable SATA/SAS 6G Drive Bays Server Rack Mount RPC-4116

The backplane seems to either be defective or has malfunctioned. The backplane has electronics in it which control the drive power and activity lights, some of those are not working anymore. There are also some hard drives which (for reasons unknown) will not work on this case. The backplane seems to be interfering causing the computer to not detect the drives. I confirmed this by direct attachment testing them individually. Now trying to figure out if this chassis can still be salvaged.

Case came with a bad back-plane and fried 4 of my drives when connected to it. Now I need to spend over $1000 to get the PCB replaced and hope to get any data off the drives.
