The Nebula is very quiet and easy to clean: I can attest to these facts!
I am very happy with my juicer as it provides me with the features I was looking for. It is quick and very easy to use and produce lots of juice from beetroot, carrots, celery, ginger and apples. I have not tried juicing any leafy vegetables like spinach as yet but I tend to blend those. I have used another slow juicer which was very noisy and the pulp from fruits and vegetables were constantly stuck around the augur and in the drum, which meant only small quantities could be juiced. One of the most amazing features of my Nebula is that it juices celery without any problems: I cut my celery stalks into two and it feeds in very smoothly and juices very quickly. This morning I juiced two packs of organic celery in 3 minutes. I was very happy as I am starting a 30 day celery detox! Cleaning is a breeze. I especially like the fact that when the drum is being washed there is a brush to get between those hard to reach places as well as a small opening to get inside. I would recommend this juicer as providing good value for money. It looks and operates like the more expensive juicers. Finally another great feature of the Nebula is that the juice container can be stored inside of the pulp container assisting with space saving.

Best Juicer Yet - and here's why ...
SO, I'll start of by saying the 5* isn't because of the offer ! I have had several juicers to the point I might start a youtube channel and I have put this detailed, semi technical, review together to help everyone understand why I am impressed with this machine over others - read on to understand the technical differences I have reviewed, this is my own opinion / view however. When I got in to juicing I did a lot of research. My first thoughts were this new style of slow cold press juicers look great but they are also all the same. They have a basket, auger and the mechanism's look from pictures identical. So why are some several £100's (up to £500) and others £100-£150. The first two I used both clogged up, celery and pineapple "always" caused issues every time from day 1, I found I was constantly unblocking the exit shoot and dismantling mid way through a juice. Even after this there was still large volume of wet pulp gathering at the top of the auger / feed shoot (a cup full !). Having looked at all three I have used in detail, I can see a few key, but subtle differences. After all there are patents so they can't all be exactly same. The Augur in the Nebula has a stepper / taller top section and the base of the feed shoot has moulded points (like a grinder) to help grip the food which prevents the food 'spinning' round the top, the steepness and 'teeth' help the food to go 'down' and not 'round'. Second the main basket has a finer mesh, the lower of the two sections is shallower and it is a tighter fit to the outer wiper (very very snug, see note below). There are however two key things in addition to these. 1. The first Augur 'rails' run very close to the basket's vertical, but slanted plastic 'blades' on the inside of the wiper unit. These help prevent produce from being pushed back up as the auger rotates forcing the produce down - no where else to go and gravity alone won't work. 2. The speed - the low 45rpm (~50% slower than the others I have tried) prevents the produce being 'mashed' quickly leading to wet pulp too early on, this helps produce be ground down in to juice / dry pulp efficiently. I believe this helps optimise the juice extract but more importantly prevents the clogging and the pulp build up issue. The faster the augur rotates the faster it is trying to push out the dry pulp out resulting in dry pulp clogging ! 3. The exit shoot, although the slot the pulp comes out looks the same size, the mouth immediately opens out to a much wider shoot which will help reduce pressure build up, ie more work the auger has to do to push out new pulp. I am extremely happy with this juicer, although the instructions say to cut celery in to small chunks, I have tried it not doing this, and the same for pineapple. I have had no issues what so ever with clogging. That said chopping fibrous produce up smaller is advised from my experience. Previous juicers i have cut pineapple and celery up in to tiny pieces and they still clog with minimal produce. People have said they struggle to fit it together, I believe it is tight because the design / work it needs to do requires the bowl, wiper, basket and auger to be a snug fit to work as well as it does >> Assembly Note: It's like a car gear box, I find slotting the basket in to the wiper unit and fitting these two as a single piece is actually easier. Otherwise I am extremely happy to find a reasonably priced good looking juicer that actually works as I'd expect, 2 other members of the family now have the same model and are all very happy with it. I even did 3 "large" (1 pint) thick juices the other day and the pulp left inside the machine can't have been more than 1 to 2 tablespoons which is outstanding. The shoot could do with a redesign maybe for leafy greens - that's the only negative I have found but it isn't a real problem, just need a little more time to feed these in. The rest though is far more efficient than previous models so more than makes up for this very minor point. Very lastly, pulp is as dry as any of the machines I have used if not dryer, juice yield excellent and speed to juice awesome. Washing up, for some reason, the basket is easier than the others I have tried, I assume due to the smaller holes in the mesh - don't know why, it just is ! People complain about washing these machines up but it takes a few minutes, people seem happier spending 10 minutes scrubbing greasy saucepans !? This is a meal and should be considered as such in the cleaning process (which is a LOT easier / quicker?) And That's it. Negative reviews seems mainly on putting together, I touched on this above, but take some time to look at how it goes together and understand it, where arrows / locator bowl bumps are and it really isn't a problem, it's just very snug - which aids its efficiency. Thanks for reading !

Top buy for first-time juicer
We decided to dip our toes into the wild and wacky world of juicing by buying the "Nebula Grande Whole Fruit Cold Press Slow Masticating Juicer (tm)" and what a wild ride it was! From pineapple to carrot, the "Nebula Grande Whole Fruit Cold Press Slow Masticating Juicer (tm)" made light work of any and all juicing chores we gave it with nary a sound - well, except for the low grumble of the high-torque motor driving the augur, a bit like the portent of juice doom. To be honest, as a mature child, I do get a lot of entertainment from observing the juicer in action. Some cheesy taglines: Marvel as the "Nebula Grande Whole Fruit Cold Press Slow Masticating Juicer (tm)" squeezes the very life blood from your fresh beetroot. Gape as the almost dry pulp of your fruity victims oozes into the pulp catcher. Wonder at the fresh, fruity (or veggie) flavours imparted, full of zest and beans. Not literally beans, but metaphorically, if you know what I mean. Semi-serious bit: It arrived in some hefty packaging, which was good, as it is a heavy beastie. Due to it's weight, I would recommend it having a permanent home in your kitchen, as you will most likely get a bit fed-up having to lug it in & out of a cupboard. It is also quite tall when fully assembled, so take that into account when you are finding it's resting place, as you are inserting veggie victims in through the top, and that will take extra space Watch the videos in the instruction booklet to get easy disassembly and cleaning - I didn't the first time and made a bit of a mess, but after watching the engineer talking through the steps, all was well. It can be a bit fiddly to clean, due to some of the pulp sticking in the strainer, but I would guess that it depends entirely upon what you are juicing, but generally I can have the whole thing cleaned and drying in under 5 minutes. Note: the parts that you have to clean are not so heavy (except the augur itself), so it's no problem there - it's just lugging that base around will most likely annoy you. Overall very happy with this purchase & would recommend it to other wannabe juicers. Update (14th June, 2022): 2 Years on and we use it for juice binges as well as daily breakfast juice opportunities. During lockdown it was worked quite hard, and post-covid has still been heavily tasked with providing us with fresh, tasty squashed fruit n veg!! -- Still rated as one of our top buys! --

A Marvellous Mechanical Masticator
I won’t lie this is my first electric juicer, so apart from manual presses I have nothing else to compare against. I know there are more expensive models available, as are there cheaper ones too. After doing my research I decided to opt for something in the middle of the road price bracket. The Nebula Grande. I haven’t heard of this brand before, so I read a few customers reviews and searched up on the company. I was encouraged enough by what I read to throw my hat in with Nebula and I purchased my brand new juicer. My review starts with the ease of use and efficiency this juicer displayed. Right out of the box it is very impressive. From the start you can tell the build quality is superior. All the individual components are well crafted and fit together with a satisfying click, although surprisingly it’s heavier than I expected. Operation is very simple. Fruit/veg goes in at the top, juice comes out at the bottom. It’s quiet...for something so robust and sturdy it is pleasingly quiet. It’s efficient. From the six oranges I usually press, this juicer yielded a lot of juice...more juice than I could ever get from my old manual press. That’s a big tick in the box. The pulp was perfectly separated and ejected from the waste port into the jug from which it was effortlessly tipped into the composting bin. One slight critical observation, the orange juice it produced was very thick and quite bitter. A pungent flavour of the peel pervaded through. Although, I imagine I will need to experiment a bit more with different types of orange, the sieves and dilution, to achieve the correct balance. Cleaning was easy. Rinsing under a running tap to wash any remaining debris, then a quick wash in warm soapy water...job done! The filter cleaned easily enough too, and the addition of the brush helped to remove the fine fibres. Finally, the delivery was quick. Less than 24 hours from making my order, I was making fresh orange juice. I can’t complain about that. I will have to use it for a few months before I can definitely recommend this product, but realistically I have a feeling that I’ll be juicing away for many happy years with this machine.

Easy to use, easy to clean, versatile juicer. Great buy.
Have used centrifugal juicers for about 20 years now and always loved the juice but hated the noise and the cleaning. Bought the Nebula Grande on offer and super happy with the results. It is not slow like I had expected and iss much more versatile than the centrifugal juicer I had in the same price range. Love the choice of sieve to filter differing levels of pulp from the juice, and the ability to easily re-press pulp to get extra juice and flavour. It isn't really necessary to do a second press as the first pulp is pretty dry but I find it does get a little more juice out and also helps to move all the vegetables through at the end of the process. Taking me about 10 minutes to chop and prepare then juice hard fruit and vegetables to produce around 400 to 500ml juice including running pulp through a second time. Using quite fibrous things like Celery, plus radish, carrots, beetroot, apple, pear and kiwi. I find I have to chop reasonably small compared to using a centrifugal model but the results are so much better and no slower to achieve. Cleaning is a dream. Very easy to dismantle and no difficulty getting fibres out of any of the parts. No mess around the juicer to clean up either. My old centrifugal model used to leak around the juice spout. I marked down slightly in assembly because it took me a while to figure out how to get the various slots lined up to put the machine back together after cleaning. Could do with better instructions for this. Over all. Great juicer at a great price.

Makes pulp rather than juice and clogs easily
I bought this because my existing juicer requires chopping items into quite small pieces and I liked the idea of being able to juice whole fruits and veggies or at least less chopping. Wasn't the easiest to assemble but I watched the video and made sure to check it was all in order and good to go. First juice seemed promising - the pulp was dry and a whole apple went in, how exciting! But the minute I tried kale and celery it clogged up and I had to use a teaspoon handle to get the "juice" out which was actually pulp (thick and included all the hard fibres like membranes etc). I thought maybe I'd done something wrong so I checked the instructions and they said to chop celery and anything stringy into small pieces so that must be it right? Second juice, small pieces, same result. Tried a third and fourth time same results. This was all with the fine juice strainer. Tried again the next day with the same results. Also would like to mention it was really difficult to clean because the pulp ejection spout was completely blocked and even after chopping the fibres wrapped round the bottom of the auger and the pulp spout and at least once the juice got completely stuck and I had to take it all apart with juice still inside. I've had 3 juicers before this one including one slow juicer and after 5 juices decided sadly this one was not meant to be so decided to return it and continue with the chopping for now.

Essential for Juicing
Amazing, been juicing with this juicer now for 5 days, first few days I was a little unsure of how to prepare and judge the amount of ingredients to use, now I've got it down to an art. This machine is a massive upgrade from my previous juicer which was a centrifuge one, I was impressed with how much more juice you get with a masticating juicer. For a green juice I use half cucumber, 6 stalks of celery, 2 green apples and half a lemon, for an orange one I use 2 oranges, 4 carrots, 2 apples and half a lemon. The juicer cannot remove all of the bits from your drink even with the fine filter, but I have a nugget of genius to share with you, use a French press like the one in my picture, it ends up 100% completely smooth, not one iota of pith or bits. This machine may not be as expensive as others on the market, but the juice it produces is just as good, I'm getting a full 16oz (~500ml) each time with my recipes and am already feeling the benefits, higher energy and concentration levels, no fatigue, I'm sleeping better at around 8 hours and my mood is massively lifted. Cleaning is easy and quick, from preparation through to cleaning and then sitting to drink I'm done in less than 45 minutes. Another tip is to put all your soft ingredients (orange, cucumber, lemon etc) through 1st then your harder ingredients (carrots, apples celery etc), the harder ones compress any soft ones that went in before it so you get more juice and less mess in side the machine. Not much more I can say other than I think this to be one of the best investments/purchases I've ever made. Go on, buy it, you won't be dissapointed.

Nebula Grande
Bought this product for homebrewing little disappointed in the amount pulp in the finished juice. Tried it out some pears to start with and whilst it did a fair job I still had to run it through a sieve to remove a fair amount of the remaining pulp. The product itself is fairly easy to use and assemble and it does look a smart unit, however I did find cleaning it was a little fiddly but other than that pleased with the product. If it wasn't for the fact of amount of pulp in the finished juice would have scored it higher than 3 stars Purchased April 2020

Highly recommended
Been using this juicer for a while now and I love it. A piece of it broke due to extra hard carrots and they immediately sent me a new piece :)
