Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Launch Edition – PlayStation 5

I really don't know much about the lore of Spider-Man that comes from the comics. Just about everything I know is from the movies. Until Into the Spider-Verse, I'd honestly never heard of the character Miles Morales. That movie is a masterpiece and if you haven't watched it you should, especially if you're considering playing this game. While it is admittedly short, I still loved every single second I played this game. There are some abilities and other things you can unlock with New Game Plus, and I just started that. Overall, this game is a great display of what the PS5 can do graphically and mechanically. It uses the adaptive triggers on the controller while traversing to give you a different feeling while web swinging. It also does this in the Remastered version of the original game. Graphically, this game is just beautiful. It really is cool how far video games have come when it comes to graphics. I don't like talking about story much in reviews because I don't want to ruin it for anyone, but I wanted to comment that I really liked the story, and can't wait for another sequel. I played the original Spider-Man on PS4 and loved it. When I saw they were doing a "Remaster", I was skeptical, especially since they changed the face model for Peter. Overall, I was very impressed with the remastered version of the original game. I never played the DLC so I'm glad I was able to do so with this new version. The graphics may not be the best with my specific lower end HDR/4K TV, but I could tell the difference from when I first played it on a non-HDR/4K TV and launch PS4. Overall the Remastered version of this game is very good.

Wow... What a stunning game so far. I'm playing on a high 4k Samsung T.V. and the game looks great even at 30 frames. This title has a lot of quick time events, and it's action packed. I was glued to the story and cut scenes. They seamless intertwine with each other. This game "time to beat" is right around 8-10 which is obviously short but given it's a launch title, it has A LOT to offer. I would expect it to be a candidate for game of the year, and a winner for PS5. I can't say rather the Ultimate edition is any good as I have never played the Ps4 game, but if its made by Insomniac, then I'm sure it is. We'll know next month (i think) when it lanches..

Son loves the game, but the free code for the suits and stuff only gave him skill points, not gadget or suits. We will try and see if there is somehow to fix this, but kinda defeats the paying extra if code doesn’t work. We still have to try code for the PS4 remastered Spiderman if that doesn’t work will drop to 2 stars based on codes, not game itself. Got it to load suits... we had to completely shutdown game and go back in and it worked. First time after download suits didn’t load, so just a shutdown and back in seemed to rest and he was happy to have the suits even if he likes others more. He played for hours on PS5 and he even had tears of joy. Loves the new controller and graphics.

Awesome launch title on PS5. Web swinging at 60fps feels awesome and PS5 kills it on performance. Highly recommend. Although, word of caution for disk users, do not place the disk "upside down". I set my PS5 at its vertical position and I naturally assumed the disk reader would be closer to the middle, not the outer edge of the console. The following picture shows the correct way to insert your disk with the disk label facing on the left side of the console on its vertical stance. As strange as it is to insert the disk label facing on the left side of the console, if you look at the horizontal stance, it makes sense. Not a major issue but I hope this review helps so others won't make the same mistake like I did on their PS5

Coming from someone who had not played spider man on PS4 and the last spider man I did play was the one back around 2002-2003 on original Xbox, I was skeptical. These super hero games typically aren’t my thing, but being burnt out with AC and skipping Valhalla, I decided to try this out. I have both series x and ps5, and honestly as more of an Xbox fan, this game impressed me so much I haven’t even really touched the series x. Sony studios know how to put out quality games that look and play incredible and not only does this look next gen it is addicting and fun to play. Very impressed and makes owning a PS5 worth it!

Very good follow up to the first game. Recommend this to causal or hardcore gamers! The combat is engaging, the web-swinging is smooth and satisfying (especially with the adaptive triggers on the PS5 controller,) the graphics/lighting are stunning, and the story is a direct sequel to that of the first game. I’ll admit it’s a pretty short story, and it’s not the best story you will ever see in a video game. But it does what it needs to do with its gameplay and immersing you in the world of a newly-found superhero: Spider-Man (the second one)

Came in perfect and has the SpiderMan PS5 Remastered (Spiderman PS4 Game but Remastered for PS5) as a digital code cause the game is only digital for the PS5 Version. If you get the Launch Edition you get some cool skins right away in the game when you activate it but you can also get these skins normally by playing the game and unlocking it In the game and one of the skins is the cool Into The SpiderVerse Skin and even Animates just like the Movie. You also get those skins right away with the game by buying the Ultimate Launch Edition which comes with Spiderman PS5 Remastered and Those Skins. But i would save your money and just buy the base game for 60 dollars and unlock the skins since you can get the normally by playing the game and you can even save money by once you start the game it gives you the option to buy the Spiderman PS5 Remastered for 25 dollars and this way you will save money so buy the base version then buy Spiderman PS5 Remastered in the title screen of Miles Morales when it gives you the option. Great game would highly recommend.

Good value with the Spider-Man (2018) remastered bundled in.

Bought this thinking I could use it and get the benefit of the extra content. But the codes are locked to North America and wont work in Europe. This was not advertised and in fact I was told the game wasn't region locked and the content would work here.
