Great PETG but needs drying
The ZIRO silver PETG is a very nice filament that prints almost like PLA and with the exception of temperature I didn’t have to tune the profile too much. Importantly at 230c there is little to none stringing. But the filament isn’t the best vacuumed packed. Consequently the filament needs a real good drying out before use. I recommend looking at online reviews of the Sunlu filament dryer it worked a charm for this PETG filament.

Frosted glass. Not transparent.
Not what I have come to expect from ziro. Transparent it's not frosted glass maybe. The dictionary claims that transparent means you can see through it. If you hike up the temperature and have minimal cooling fan speed you can make it less bad but never good. The surface still ends up rough. As the purple version of this that I have is glossy I guess the dye adds more than just colour. If you want a frosted finish then this is okay but I wanted transparent. I knew it was never going to be like glass but this is not even in the ballpark.

WOW very impressed. Top quality at a bargain price.
Bought this as I needed a roll of PETG and amazed to see the quality of the filament. Arrived in it's own branded colour box and vacuum packed with two bags of silica desiccant. Also comes with a ziplock back for storage once opened. Was well wound on the spool and nice to see lots of cut outs to see how much is left on the roll. But most importantly the first prints were faultless, used 235 nozzle with 70 bed and got great adhesion and flow. Will definitely be buying more.Well done Ziro.

Pet-G is hydrophobic but not this much
TL;DRThis needs drying indicating -back packaging or old resurrected batch.First Day prints OK (7/10)Next-Day print quality 5/10 same settingsDay 3 3/10 - bad adhesion, bubbly walls. same settingsAfter a couple of days on the Rad this is now printing well.Nice n slow on the first few layers, with no fan, good adhesion if you keep the fan low.

Good value
I don't usually bother leaving reviews, but I felt this deserved a mention. I bought two spools of this filament on a whim as the price was discounted. It's a nice touch that they include a decent amount of cleaning filament and a separate sealable bag for storage.Having read the other reviews about moisture in the filament, I baked both spools in the oven for a few hours before use. So far it seems to be printing really nicely. It appears to like a slightly higher temp compared to the petgs I'm used to - 240 for me on a volcano hotend. I will probably buy more of this.

Excellent quality, cheap and I’m just about to order more!
I was very skeptic due to the price. I was not disappointed! For £14 (ordered while drunk after 12pm last night) delivered TODAY and had it on the printer as soon as it arrived. Printed a flow calibration cube and it came out dimensionally accurate with the default PETG profile in cura! Very happy. Also came with a ziplock bag for the filament, absolute win!
