Great Product, Great Service
We had a water leak that cost me over 26K in repairs because my hardwood floor needed to be replaced. I purchased the YoLink Water Sensors and they have worked great. Not much money for the extra protection. The products are priced well and very easy to set up and maintain. I have since bought the Temp/Humidity Sensor, Garage Door Sensor/Finger and the valve shot off add on. So far they have been great. Highly recommend. I purchased a garage door Kit for my daughter and when the sensor would not come online, I called the service line and they replaced the part with no hassle.

Straightforward installation
Have had the water sensors for several years. Just bought a garage door sensor and opener. "Motorized finger". Quite easy to install. Had a problem with how to do an automation (closing door automatically after N minutes) and product support solved it in reply email.

Was The Remote Finger Switch Didn't Stay Set But Now It's A Thermal Issue!
The remote finger switch does not stay set. It keeps backing off to the point where it doesn't even touch the remote button. (This problem seems to have resolved itself? Firmware?)I will be reaching out to YoLink to fix, replace or resolve the issue with the product I received.I will update and change my review depending upon the outcome of YoLink service.12-10-21 UPDATE:Since reaching out to YoLink, the previous problem seems to have resolved itself? Now I have determined that my finger switch has some external thermal issues as well. The finger switch does not want to operate in temperatures below 32 degrees!I will continue communicating to YoLink until this issue is resolved.12-16-21 UPDATEReply from YoLink: "I do know that we list 32° as the minimum temperature range, which per your testing seems to be validated."Nowhere in YoLinks Amazon ad do they list a minimum operating temperature for this finger switch. LOL.I also have another issue with this device now.I cannot get it to work with Alexa. Not impresses with this finger switch device so far.04-02-22 UPDATETo resolve the freezing thermal issues with this device, I moved the location of the block I mounted my switches to to inside the house. Problem resolved.YoLink also helped fix my Alexa issue through a couple of quick email exchanges. For those of you who are struggling with this same Alexa problem I had, you need to create at Scene on the YoLink app for the YoLink Finger. As easy as this was, I don't understand why there isn't any instructions or videos for this yet.I've changed my rating to 4 stars on this device.PJD from MN

The YoLink Garage Door Opener Controller is excellent!
After a good experience with other YoLink products I decided to try the YoLink Garage Door Opener Controller and found it easy to install and it works well with my smart home setup. It's essentially a remote control "finger" that pushes the button on your existing wall-mounted garage door button which allows it to be used with virtually any brand of opener, regardless of the vintage. It also works well with Alexa and Alexa Routines. You can even use it to open your garage door by voice by using a 4-digit pin code that you provide. This is for security purposes but works quite well. It does require the YoLink hub, but that's a one-time purchase. In homes with spotty WiFi the YoLink LoRa allows for solid communication without having to buy a new router or add to an existing system. This would make it especially useful for someone with a large home or someone who has a detached garage.

Simple Idea That Works
Based on price, this is a helpful tool for closing your garage door remotely. It is also helpful for verifying the door is closed. I use the app to open when coming home from a walk. It works with Alexa. I have it set up with both garage doors. This is a low-cost option to making a garage door “smart,” which is what I was looking for. I saw the negative reviews, so posting a positive one out there, as I’ve been using this product since September 2021 without a problem.

Simple, straightforward and easy
This is an extremely simple, straight forward solution. It pushes the button - that’s all there is to it. Well okay, there is also a wireless sensor on the door that knows if the door is open or closed, but there are no wires to run, and no concern for compatibility with specific models. Installation is peal and stick. Activation is just scanning the QR code printed on each of the two devices. I have several other YoLink products and this connects to the same hub and integrates with Alexa. I can ask if the garage door is open, I can ask to open or close the garage door (lock and unlock are the terminology it uses), and I can have it automatically remind me if it is left open, or simply close it automatically. A great addition to my smart ecosystem.

Great backup when internet is down
I use this as a backup for the MyQ garage opener whenever it loses internet connection for whatever reason. This Yolink has not let me down yet. I also bought a genie remote garage opener and mounted on the wall with the Yolink finger and have the finger press the remote instead of the wall mounted opener. It requires less force so the finger doesn’t bend and it always works. Hope that made sense.
